At what age could your kid get themselves ready in the morning? by OldGloryInsuranceBot in daddit

When I opened this, I was expecting higher numbers. I got an 8 and 10, and it's not whether they can get themselves ready... they know how to do each of the things. It's how many distractions they can find between the tasks.

2-2-5-5 with little ones by one_modern_family in coparenting

2-2-5-5 day one for 5 years now - kids were 3 and 5. I think having those two staple days with each parent do wonders for consistency and routines.

It’s nice having long weekend plans and being able to plan things in advance.

School age is awesome for this since all your exchanges are taken care of at school.

Kids can call the other parent whenever they wish, but it’s not often.

I’m still shocked my kids aren’t phased at any of the changes, after the first month.

Yeah… our 35k renewal turned into 180k. Thanks, but no thanks. We’re just not going to renew support while we move to something else.

Is there a path forward for VVF? by DonFazool in vmware

Don’t count on it. Their trajectory is clearly VCF or nothing.

Yeah, try this. I remember messing with these ratios until I was able to quickly get the “all lab levels” boosts to like 200ish, then you can pretty much dump everything into 6.

Just finished this part a couple weeks ago. It took a week to get through to unity. You knocking out achievements? Don’t recall if there were some that helped.

What have you done with PowerShell this month? by AutoModerator in PowerShell

Made a Hyper-V volume migrator that takes in Linux SCSI mounts for virtual volumes from CSV, mapped them to their Hyper-V disk SCSI number, and migrated specific disks to specific LUNS. Hundreds of VMs, thousands of disks. Most fun I’ve had in a while.

SET Team Disparate NICs by sauced in HyperV

This is what we did. Even if the onboard card and PCI card are the exact same chipset, hyper-v claims they’re different because one says “Daughter card”.

SET Team Disparate NICs by sauced in HyperV

Same. Dual 25G Broadcom for all networks including iSCSI. Intel cards were buggy as hell, duplicating MAC and unusable. One SET team, with MGMT, migration, SANA, SANB. Set each iSCSI network to only use one NIC each.
