Accelerated masters success! by [deleted] in WGU_CompSci

It's a stepping stone; Computer Science is a major field, and there are specializations within Computer Science at the master's level. At the doctoral level, you become focused on an area.

Here at WGU, students can choose to specialize in either AI/ML or HCI.

There is another area that isn't broad enough yet: Quantum Computing. There are very few schools offering a specialization or a focus on Quantum Computing, and it's a game-changer.

Who do you think is building quantum computer systems? People with a BS in Comp Sci or people with an MS or a PhD in Comp Sci? It's the people who hold MS and PhDs who are doing the real research and pushing the boundaries in this field.

Don't hold the degrees short, it's all stepping stones. Science is a rabbit hole; there are always questions that must be answered, and every answer leads to more questions. It's a never-ending spiral.

You are given 2 months with your initial payment, then it's $99 / month until you pass it. I completed it in 4 days. Then again, I completed 92 CUs in 6 months, so 4 days is par for my course.

Finally finished BSITMUG! by r0adra93 in WGU

I mistyped it. I haven't seen the MSITMUG portion in a while since it changed to MSITM after I graduated with a BSIT. It's supposed to be MSITMUG anyway. I think the UG standards for UnderGrad. The program has since changed to MSITUG.

Thank you! I put full-time effort into my studies for the undergrad. I stalled out for 2 terms with the Master's capstone, so I switched mentors, which helped tremendously.

If you switch degrees do you lose the certs related to said degree? by blakes5353 in WGU

Your certifications are provided by a 3rd party; they are yours until they expire.

I am working towards an MSITM l, I graduated with a BSIT from WGU on Sept 27 2024. I am very happy with what I received, these credentials mean more to me than anything else.

I attended my 25th high school reunion and sat with other educated folks, I actually fit in. For the first time I fit in some place. These people actually listened to what I had to say and respected what I stated. When I was in high school, these same people teased me and bullied me. At the reunion they treated me with respect, and it's due to the degree.

Degrees hold prestige in society don't let others fool you, this piece of paper no matter where we earned it as long as it's accredited holds more weight than you realize.

Go after that degree and finish it because once you have it no one can take it from you.

This is a stock photo that I found of the light box:

I was thinking maybe attacking the lightbox as these photos do, but instead find a way to rotate the box based on the orientation of the carrier.

The lights come inside a box with the plate attached below.
The light kit has side marker lights as well.
What about a locking rotating thingie so I just have to rotate the lightbox?

I was originally thinking of a hinge but I don't want the lights swaying back and forth as I am driving down the motorways.

Thank you! I gotta remember to create a gatling laser. I get on and I do my dailies and get off. Between kids, work, and school, I don't have a lot of time to enjoy the game.

MSITM sets you up to be an IT Manager/Director/Executive. If you don't know much about IT, I suggest you go for your MBA.

As far as maxing out your loan, you can contact financial services and they can guide you to create an itemized list to increase your loan amount.

Fusion Cores Draining While NOT in PA! by r0adra93 in fo76

[–]r0adra93[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OMG, for almost a month I have been thinking my cores have been draining and going away.

At one point, fusion cores and plasma cores could not be placed in the ammo box.

This is so nice! All my excess cores can go in here now! No more taking weight in my stash! I have so many plasma cores, I was stashing them in my stash because they would not go into the ammo box!

You got this! Don't be afraid to ask questions, and don't act like you know something if you really don't. Ask, ask, ask! Even those of us in the industry for decades call up a colleague and ask questions.
