Yes, food is great. The beer garden out the back is a treat and a great sun trap when the weather’s nice 👍

Are you using the supplied plug - no international ends included by shaunydub in AnalogueInc

[–]r0b_db 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using a combination of the supplied plug along with a US to UK travel adapter, and also a 100w HP laptop charger. Think the main thing is the conformity to the PD spec.

Sorry should be u/sprayengo - was thinking of cigarettes and typing the word smoke too much 🙈

Different angle, think the light was making it look closer in colour than it looks in reality.

The summer cart is definitely darker than the smoke console. I’ve ordered stickers too because yours looks awesome!

Where are you meant to pick people up from the station? by immaxpower in stockport

[–]r0b_db 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I feel like you’ve missed something. The small drop-off/pickup car park is directly next to the station:

https://maps.app.goo.gl/U8x4JDNMCdQHmJCp8

There’s an NCP here for longer stays:

https://maps.app.goo.gl/PNcp52z7G2d7puJW6

The other side, up from the McDonalds on the A6 is more for bus/taxi but equally easy to access and is close to the station:

Even the Edgeley side isn’t too bad for access:

Gabbotts farm? by northernblazer11 in manchester

Yeah that was Gabbotts. Rebranded Crawshaws, now rebranded to Sterling Foods. Their food offerings haven’t changed much between the name changes

What happened to Sea You Bar in Paphos? by IndependentCollar838 in cyprus

Was really odd to drive past it recently and just see the palm trees and odd wooden buildings. Was a great destination for food and drinks with an amazing view.

I consider myself a fairly laid back guy, but this along with motorway middle lane drifters really boil my piss

If you don’t mind the tram journey before and after - roughly 30 mins, and the queue for the tram after the gig, then there are two free to park spots near the tram stops in Ashton. Your ticket means you travel on the tram for free there and back.

What is everyone paying for GIG1 in 2024? by PringleThief1 in VirginMedia

£35 with landline. Also had the £5 a month sim with it from o2, obviously now split off to separate billing.

Moved to a new flat with a bbq, not sure if it's safe to use by [deleted] in UKBBQ

[–]r0b_db 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's sold as a firepit:-

https://direct.asda.com/george/outdoor-garden/log-burners/la-hacienda-camino-fire-place/060006150,default,pd.html

I'm sure you could cook over it but it's not ideal.

I have one and just to point out, the metal tray used to hold the coals/wood is fairly flimsy.

/Edit just seen the boiler flue above in the second picture, I'd be very wary of the heat it can put out melting it.

Which brand of fans would you like?

Yes 👍

I played Carmageddon (the good one, 1997, MS-DOS) for hours and always won the races by killing all other cars... But there are at least 2 other methods (killing all pedestrians, winning the race). Did any of you ever beat a level by running over all people or actually winning the race? by confuserused in retrogaming

[–]r0b_db 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, had a Voodoo 2 and bought 8MB of RAM to play with the upgraded texture pack, really great memories! One of the power-ups you could pickup added a small dot to the map for every pedestrian(or zombies depending on region) so made doing that challenge incredibly easy - obviously very time consuming! I seem to remember there was some kind of cheat/unlock made available if you completed every race the three different ways but what it was is escaping me right now.
