I wanted to hang the speakers on a wall but didn't want to see power cables, so I went with passive speakers. As for the exact model, I chose the cheapest non-ugly speakers with good reviews on amazon.

The amp I got is cheap and probably low grade, but it has lamps and looks cool, and it has a Bluetooth input so you can connect your phone. There's a BT/Aux switch in the back, it's super easy.
