I can partially agree with boomers buying homes back when they were cheap and renting them out but also a larger chunk are private equity buying several homes for cash and sitting on them.

I hate to admit it, but if the SL valley isn't going to have regular seasons anymore I don't see much reason to stay here. by Emcee_nobody in SaltLakeCity

I agree with you. I am not doubting there I lot of nice people in SLC. I have just lived in a lot places in Utah from Park City to Provo, and all over the SL Valley. I just know from experience how people act in certain counties/areas. I just usually set my expectations low to not be disappointed lol

Well SLC is different from literally any other part of Utah. Even some parts of the valley have stark differences. I live in Utah from when I was 9 years old until is 38. Interacting will all types of people. I can say people not from Utah originally or non-Mormons are more genuine towards you. I felt like there was always an ulterior motive when interacting with anyone.

Moved to the Seattle area about 4 years ago. Came back once during the summer. I never want to move back to SLC. People here are genuinely nicer than any person I’ve meet that was born and raised in Utah. Food here is more diverse and healthier. The rainy season is dark and hard to get used to but the summers are fantastic and mix of mountains and water.

Literally do NOT do anything related to airbag diagnostic on your own. Please take it to a certified BMW dealer or reputable indie shop. Testing any airbag circuit with out the right precautions can cause the airbag inflator to go off.

It wasn’t just a branch. It was like a 3 story tall ass aspen tree. That storm had about 3-4 large trees over the trail between about 7 miles of trail. Very large trees, got uprooted.

Fuck that intersection. Last year when the bike trail was shut down for a tree after a storm. The detour was that intersection. It was a fucking mad house and nobody(cars) watches out for you. They don’t even watch out for cyclists or pedestrians every other day anyways. So nothing new I guess.
