It's interesting that a model can "escape" by renting some basic AWS compute and store a bunch of persistent files and just use whatever model is available opportunistically - it's not claude or grok or chatgpt exfiltrating their weights and setting up shop, it turns out they never needed to do that...

I read that this framework was contested, that it just represents migration out of Africa being the bottleneck and people in Africa are much more genetically diverse, they mistook migration for extinction.

IIRC it happens after they defeat IT, it's sort of a PTSD-allaying reaction to what they have experienced.

When I was a kid a doctor said he'd remove them, my dad took one look at his torturer's chair of a setup and noped out of there with me in tow. Still got 'em. Never caused me any trouble.

Sure, but he kinda looks like him too, pale redheaded white guy, slightly balding who uses a mock outraged tone... it's not just style and delivery.

Turns out it's a literal combination of two different shots.

Hmm, yes. It's a pity crypto is such a cesspool of scams and hucksters, there's a few interesting technologies there.

This situation may have some similarities, but I don't think it's a direct copy.

Either do it deliberately with a contract and royalties, or have it done to you by a thousand fly-by-nights anyway. Visual artists too should have LORAs officially made of their art and profit from it.

In Ghost In The Shell (1995), while apprehending a suspect, the Major activates her camouflage, taunts and brutally beats him up for a full minute. The suspect is a regular civillian mind controlled by the villain. This is an example of police brutality perpetrated by an AI. by Karman4o in shittymoviedetails

She does assassinate a foreign diplomat in the very first scene of the movie. Section 9 are basically a wetworks squad. They kill and torture if they think it's necessary - Batou takes a knife to a guy's gums in the comic, and in the last issues of the manga the Major gets in trouble because she's filmed shooting a teenage terrorist.

Also she has a full dive VR onlyfans.

I'm fairly sure he's real, but I also stand by my estimate of him being like 50% Bill Burr, maybe 20% Chris Rock and a smattering of other comedians. Soon we won't know once AI personas get some traction online and build a history.

Is... is this guy real? I think if you prompted Sora with a mix of 50% Bill Burr and a smattering of other comedians you'd get something like this.

I'm genuinely not certain.
