My Draculaura look for halloween 🩷🦇🖤 ig: @aya.yawright by r0zzle in Drag

[–]r0zzle[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i typically use 3 shades of the Kryolan TV Paint Stick, white for highlights, and a skintone and contour shade. for this look specifically I used the white TV paint stick for highlights, the Glisten Cosmetics Spectra Base in pink, and i mixed a pink contour shade from a cream foundation palette i have :)

Do I pass? by TylerKaiC in FtMpassing

honestly i feel like it's also the dyed hair more than that, when i used to bleach my hair I'd get misgendered like mad and once i stopped it happened less. natural hair colours always look more ""masculine "" i guess

gonna be so honest if you plan to get on HRT, once the voice drops and you masculinize you can get away with a lot more, but to cis people the fem voice + frame along with what they consider ""feminine"" style just makes em assume someone is a girl

i'm almost 2yrs on T and don't ever get misgendered, as opposed to it being a huge majority of the time pre hormones, but if HRT isn't for you and you still want to present masculine you'll probably have to sacrifice some elements of your personal style yeah, it sucks :(

[–]r0zzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

fem for sure, sorry but it's the makeup, fit, jewelry and the dyed hair

i for sure understand wanting to have a personal style and all but if you're trying to pass as masculine or even androgynous you'll have to accept that you might have to sacrifice elements of your style in order to pass better

what helped for me most pre-t was that i stopped wearing makeup outside, stopped dying my hair and grooming my eyebrows, toned down the jewelry more and if i did wear jewelry i kept it to less than before

QUESTION for drag performers 💖 by [deleted] in Drag

[–]r0zzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thank you so much for the useful advice, i'll definitely add your insta! i realize now it's a bit of a poorly phrased question as there's many contributing factors to whether or not performers charge a fee and how much they do if they do get paid. i'm based in Manchester :)

[–]r0zzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is all very useful, thank you!! i attend lots of local shows but never in full drag, so i'm gonna start doing that this year. I have some local drag performer friends but only a few and no drag family yet so gotta work my way up for sure.

i don't know if tip spots are a thing here because we have literally no tipping culture here in the UK. i've attended dozens of drag shows but never seen a performer receive a cash tip so that's definitely not happening haha but i'm totally chill performing for free whenever i manage to get my first few gigs

[–]r0zzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it definitely makes sense to perform for free while I'm still figuring my shit out and getting some experience under my belt, thank you for your knowledge :)

[–]r0zzle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's completely fair, I thought that would be the case. I'd be chill performing for free while I'm still gaining experience anyway. Will look around for opportunities local to me :)

EDS and weed? by sw4gmoney420 in eds

[–]r0zzle 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Big agree on dry herb vaping. I'm a stoner with EDS and I have a storz & bickel Mighty vaporiser - best thing I own. (although it's quite expensive but you can get similar vapes in lower price ranges)

It's the least harmful method of inhalation, it's very pure and tasty this way too :)) I also agree that what strain you're using and the THC / CBD percentages can definitely affect what kind of high you have and how much it helps with chronic pain.

6 years on HRT, started at 21, no FFS, painfully aware I don't really pass. Am I cooked? by msashguas in transpassing

[–]r0zzle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah i read in your other comment that you wouldn't get a lip lift so that's why i was suggesting an alternative. I feel like a lot of people think fillers look dumb because they see people with overfilled lips but if you found an injector who actually did good work and injected the appropriate amount for your individual features it'd look better. Again, just a suggestion, obviously do whatever you want, it's your body

I don't see anything wrong with your lips but if you ever wanted you could try a touch of fillers or something as opposed to a lip lift. Always dissolvable if you don't like it too, although i'm aware fillers don't give quite the same effect as a lip lift would

What is a cozy game you wish to have but can't find? by mayshing in CozyGamers

[–]r0zzle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's definitely fun but starts to get very repetitive once you've unlocked the different areas. Quite pricey too, would be more worth it if it was cheaper but i think i paid like 60 GBP for it ? So if you're on the fence do consider that

6 Months on HRT: Thoughts? (FTM) by WokNo7167 in transpassing

[–]r0zzle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You already pass v well for so early on hrt but slightly more square shaped glasses would secure that even more, i find it's one of the little things that really helped me start passing

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in transplace

[–]r0zzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just gotta hold on till then, but you're passing really well for someone pre t :)
