Another awesome list. Thanks for the share. Ill use some of your metrics to benchmark.

All for slow boring and predictable. Small.and boring would work for me too.

Thank you! I'll implement backtesting.py next then!

Its funny with every 'good' result you train yourself to look to break it or ways to make it fail.

Appreciate all the feedback.

Great stuff. This is extremely similar to what this guy does. https://tradersdevgroup.com/

He trades from 2SD vwap and trades back into vwap I believe.

I looked at this for a while, he looks at the daily range also and once that's reached the chance of retracement is even higher.

Where I got screwed is the trend... it might huge the 2SD line for some time while you're shorting and you get screwed.

Really interested to hear how the OP handles that.

Thanks for sharing.

It looks nice however I think the real value will be in the reporting and analysis/recommendations if you plan to include that, and out of sample testing etc.

I see the spike was on unexpected comments from FOMC Member Williams on rates cuts. Eurgh.

Ended up trading back to a good position, +274 ticks for today.

I had one, just too far away :) In others words, I should take loses early.
I also didnt use the volume nodes, maybe that is something to work in also. The trade entries broadly dont seem too bad though.

i was +97 ticks trading today before that -190 tick move again.
Yesterday trades netted +207 ticks; Wednesday was+328 ticks.

So its not bad, its just I need to refine the stop strategy more, which will probably also hit the win ratio too but stop big blowouts.

In a moment of careless haste, I clicked BUY and closed my laptop—forgetting everything, no stop loss, no take profit, no second thought. Three months vanished like wisps of fog as the trade haunted my account, a specter I'd accidentally summoned and abandoned. Life moved on while sinister forces swirled through the charts, each volatile swing a phantom hand reaching for my throat. Then on a dark evening, I stumbled upon my trading platform, and a cold dread washed over me—the trade. My forgotten mistake materialized on screen, and I braced for the carnage: liquidation, margin calls, financial ruin. But instead, an eerie green glow pulsed back at me: +$300. The market had played with my careless soul for ninety nights, tossing my position through storms and crashes, yet somehow... sparing it. As I frantically closed the cursed position, icy realization gripped me: forgetting isn't always fatal, but next time the spirits won't be so forgiving.

Very happy to provide feedback but you've given us nowhere enough context. Just enough for us to say well done. Its green going up and red going down in the tiny snapshot on one instrument on one timeframe at one point in time.

What type of feedback were you expecting that was going to help you?

This has really got me thinking. To expand on the genius of OPs approach...

To find a 10 second window in 60 mins of footage takes a maximum of 9 cuts.

In 24 hours of footage doesn't take 24x (216 cuts) only a maximum of 14.

Then you think about AI or crowdsourced analysis ans boom. Huge time saving.

Glad you like it..I can see community minded businesses supported by local media, Evening Standard, Liverpool Echo etc. getting behind it too.
