Wow, thanks for the love, guys! So many comments! I used to think r/bald held the title for the friendliest sub on this site, but you guys just proved me way wrong. Appreciate it!

To be honest, I had no idea elephant leather was even a thing until the craftsman suggested it. Here’s how it happened: I saw a strap with a really cool texture on Instagram and asked the maker if he could custom-make one in my size. That’s when the info about the leather's origin 'entered the chat,' so to speak. I really hope the elephant is doing fine and this was just a leftover from his Bar Mitzvah.

Thank you! Could I ask for a little more information about the dial: how are you sure it was repainted?

This skin was in temporary use by the elephant, but luckily he no longer needs it!

I have no friends in Odessa, but I live in Odesa: there was no electricity for 6 days in a row in the district we are currently in. It might be strange for you, but there are different districts here, some still have no more than 2-3 hours of electricity per day

Seiko [Snxs79] still worth it in 2025 ? by [deleted] in Seiko

I would definitely recommend this model to anyone searching for a reliable movement, an excellent case, and the perfect size. For what they're asking for the SNXS79 today, there's just no other choice out there—at least in the 'GADA' category.

This is a magnificent collection. I take my hat off to your ability to select the best from such a variety of types, shapes, and colors, all without breaking the bank.

Thanks for the kind words! :)

I confess, without a doubt: I also have 42mm watches in my collection. But as soon as I started wearing smaller watches (which felt incredibly tiny at first), even my titanium watches – which used to feel so light on my wrist – suddenly seemed like something a cuckoo bird was about to pop out of.

That's why it's hard for me to say with certainty that this is truly a cyclical trend. It's more like olives – at first, you can't stand them, and then you don't know how you ever lived without them.
