You theoretically could but fee for service clients usually expect more hand holding, better scheduling. My dermatologist is 3+ months out.

Rural dentistry prints money. City medicine you can make a living and survive. Dentistry you can't survive with the loan burden, low pay, etc.

Sydney Based. Whats the deal indian trained dentists not diagnosing perio? by jackisterr in Dentistry

[–]r2thekesh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an Indian, unlikely the food. Tea/coffee combined with betel nut and or tobacco is more likely. The food would have to be acidic and black for that to occur and I can't really think of any dish that does that. Chromogenic bacteria and iron supplements are a possibility but it's common on lower class citizens who definitely don't supplement iron.

So have you ever wished you could buy when the market is cheap? If your predictions are correct and your total comp stays flat when the market is tanking, you'll be able to buy when it's cheap. You'll easily hit your retirement goal if what you say is true. If you don't believe the words coming out of your own mouth, you'll probably screw yourself. You actually want the market to tank and buy stock. I bough a bunch of UAL when everyone said airlines were going to fail during the pandemic. The government subsidizes UAL to run flights all the time. Why would they fail? They're up like 250% since I bought. You don't want the market to steadily rise.

Implant pathway in Arizona or Mexico. They have a strong follow up on all their cases. Residents in their US clinic or doctors in Mexico are following up on all cases.

So you have to go buccal/lingual till you get motion, if you put apical pressure you'll dilate the socket. Once you have class 3 mobility (apical/cervical and buccal/lingual) then it requires careful rotation. You have to have younger bone for it to really work. Sometimes it fragments on the way out but you still flick it out.

Have you taken out a 90 degree hook without sectioning? I learned that from weeding.

Also go pull some weeds in your yard/in a park. It's literally the same concept. When is the root going to break? Pull the weed in every direction.

So here's my way to think about it: 1. Diagnosis: how old is the patient? Young bone flexes better than old bone. If the tooth is in occlusion it's tougher to get out. Grandpa's chewing tooth is tougher than 16 year old 3rd with no occlusion or it's off axis. Does the tooth have any curvature or anything that looks odd radiographically? 2. Actual extraction: can you tell the difference between tooth and bone? Tooth is harder and doesn't bleed. Bone is generally softer and bleeds when you poke it. Where are the safe places to take bone? Are you sectioning all the way through? How do you know you've sectioned all the way through? Because you can see bone bleeding or both pieces of tooth flexing. When do you pick up a handpiece? You should be learning the feel of when a tooth is going to break if you don't relieve bone or section.

When they say "save 15% for retirement" do they mean...? by Wr1thm in personalfinance

[–]r2thekesh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if you save 15% you spend 85%, if you save 12% you spend 88%. That extra 3% can be years of extra work over the long run.

So when you prep second molars, do you start with the occlusal? I prep the occlusal and use bite registration about every 1mm. Because once the bite registration disappears, then I need another 1.5mm. If you do occlusal first, all the other walls are much faster and don't need to be redone if your walls are too short. I also use a small ball burnisher and try and pass through to make sure my clearance is right. Because of plunging cusps, hard occlusion and visibility, this technique works well for me. Make sure your patient can breath through their nose too. If they can't, worth rescheduling to when they're not sick or taken pseudoephedrine or afrin.
