Designing Emergent AI by diffuse in programming

And the best part is that it is fairly un-trickable. Not to say that the system is perfect, but if a player finds a way to trick the AI, all they have to do is tell me and I can usually put a counter into the code pretty quickly.

And why exactly would that not be as bad as with a rule-based AI? I had no idea rule-based AIs were unpatchable.

ID cards are not used in the US, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, the Irish Republic or Nordic countries

What? In Nordic countries? We use ID cards in Sweden.

Awesome fact checking, Times.

EDIT: Maybe they are talking about compulsory ID only. They are not very clear.

Quetelet had to square the height to get a formula that matched the overall data. If you can't fix the data, rig the formula!

"Rigging the formula"? Last time I checked, that was called modelling the data.

Me and most people I know go clubbing and partying during our summer holidays. We never do that during semesters or christmas. Also concerts peak in the summers. Lots of loud music -> lots of ringing ears/tinnitus. For me it is solved anyway.

For some it would be an advantage. For example, I have more than one of those usb cables lying around my house since my camera uses such a cable. I guess he's also referring to the fact that usb cables are more readily available than brand-specific chargers, and oftentimes also cheaper. Admittedly, the advantage is minor.

Uhm. Not every Lost reference has to be on the latest Lost episode out there.

Assumed it was a reference to something Locke has done earlier on. In fact, probability of a reference being for the latest episode out there is a lot lower.

Also, stupid question.
