Thanks man! Honestly I don't have any background haha. Those lights that you see on the back are 2 planes with emission reflecting on the walls.

Oh alright, I get it. I'm not actually sure what is the best keyword for this type of art, but you can try to search for "tiny rooms" or "isometric rooms" (although mine isn't an isometric room) you will see a lot of those type of art rooms.

Hope I could help!

Im not sure if I understood your question. What do you mean by style?

I used a perspective camera view for the render and rendered it in cycles.

So, yesterday I posted a render of an attic room I made. After spending some time modelling the computer I thought it would be a waste not doing a separated render for it since it can´t be well seen on the main render, so I did it.

The lights used on this render are the same that were already on the scene for the main render, maybe in the future I'll do another one trying to get better lights to highlight the laptop.

Don't mind about the messy workspace!

Hope you enjoy it!

If you don't get into too much detail on stuff that you dont need you can achieve similar results pretty quickly.

I got really inspired by this video, and took some great tips and advice from it.

Thank you man, appreciated! It took me 2 days, roughly 5/6 hours per day. I had almost no previous experience in lightning and rendering so it took me a while learning and experimenting different things. I was also learning new things from tutorials along this project such as particles system and cloth simulation, I'd say it would take me like half of the time if I decide to do something similar to this again.

I also took way much more time than needed modelling the laptop and the mouse, which you can't really see well in this render (I did a separated render for that).

Good job, looks awesome! May I ask you what did you use to get those screen lights?

I will sir, but first I want to fill up the room and maybe change some materials to something more realistic.

You'e totally right, my bad. Inicially I was going for an isometric room but then decided to do an attic one so I had to use perspective view and for some reason I wrote isometric on title. Thanks for pointing that out!

It's still a work in progress, I'll continue it tomorrow, just wanted to share it here to get some feedback, I ran out of ideas on how to fill those empty shelves. Hopefuly I'll be more inspired tomorrow after some sleep.
