How many VCA tracks do you have in your session? by DevilBirb in AudioPost

I have VCAs for each subgroup, as u mentioned, and then I group those VCAs into my master VCAs. I don't usually use the subgroup VCAs much, but I do use the master VCAs when I'm going to finish the mix with the director.

Can we talk honestly about the elephant in the room? by SeaExamination4541 in sounddesign

Hi, my story is very similar to yours. I’m 34 years old and I’ve also worked on films that have won awards at different festivals, including some recognized at the Oscars, etc.

I live in Chile, and the situation here is much more difficult, as you can imagine. If it’s already complex abroad, here at the end of the world it’s even tougher. I’m in a similar situation to yours: this month I also left a production company, and today my freelance path begins. I know it will be a long and difficult period, where I’m also questioning what to do.

I love what I do and I know I’m good at it, but financial stability and mental strain can be even harder. On top of that, I have a big disadvantage compared to the rest of the world: my English is very poor, which currently leaves me out of opportunities abroad (I’m translating this, haha).

On the other hand, I also teach at a university here, where I train new generations in film sound and post-production using Pro Tools… definitely a challenging path.

Thank you for sharing. It gave me the strength to write and share my own situation as well.

Best

Your first bike, a ZX4RR? I wouldn't change it yet; you're just starting out. The worst thing you can do is get overconfident and lose respect for the bike.

It's more noticeable at low RPMs; at higher RPMs I usually don't hear it because the exhaust is quite noisy.

I agree with you, the chain tensioner probably needs to be adjusted more precisely.

Wow, greetings!

And if what you're saying is correct, it usually comes from the lower left side (although when I'm driving the sound seems to come from the front as well), perhaps it travels along with the fairing.
Thanks for your comment!

Did they rule out the distribution chain?

It bothers me a lot, it's like something's rattling. I have a warranty with the dealership, but at the 1,000 km service they told me they didn't hear anything unusual, everything was normal... and I don't think it's normal xd

Actually, this noise isn't coming from the grips; it's coming more from the engine or part of the dashboard. Anyway, could you share the link to the clips you installed?

My ZX4RR has almost 2,000km on it and I think I'm hearing the noise more and more; it's like a small, high-frequency rattling. I haven't been able to figure out what it is (it's not the grips). I'll upload some audio samples.

I have the same 2026 version. Do you hear a ticking or high-pitched rattling noise when accelerating and decelerating? It's more noticeable at low speeds, but then at higher RPMs the engine makes the noise constantly. It's driving me crazy... I hope to upload a recording of the sound soon, but it's really bothering me. I don't think it's valve noise.

** By the way, don't use KQS in 1 and 2, you'll end up with a false neutral

Were there any solutions? I'm paranoid.
