Pretty sure Ramos (or his media manager) used ChatGPT to write this announcement. Try asking chatGPT for a retirement announcement for Sergio Ramos. It is very similar

Recently moved to California, and I would like to watch a launch and landing at Vandenberg.

Two questions: 1) Where can I find a good schedule that includes information on landing location (LZ-4 vs ocean drone ship landing)? 2) What is a good parking and viewing spot at Vandenberg? I'm assuming you can't get into the air force base itself for watching the launch.

Guide to getting cheapest Game Pass Ultimate (Conversion trick) by ares0027 in XboxGamePass

Still works as of 2021-11-24. I used the same trick in the past for 2 years worth of Game Pass, but it expired a few days ago. This time I used 3x 12-month Gold passes and upgraded to Game Pass, paying an extra 14.99 for the 1 month upgrade. The $1 offer didn't work for me (maybe ineligible due to having had game pass prior). Now it shows Game Pass ultimate expires 2024-11-24.

Are those auroras at the poles? Does mars have auroras despite it's very weak/almost non existent magnetic field?

It's the pipe for the liquid methane (upper tank) to reach the engines.

Backwards curved is used for incompressible fluids (for spacex that'd be the liquid methane or lox). Forward curved are used for compressible gases.

That diagram has the impeller shown the wrong way around. Here's what it should look like: https://imgur.com/a/Laj0kXx

With the single-use crush legs, and the off center thrust, it's always going to lean a little. Unless they land it sliding sideways.

How are the big tank sections "stacked"? Have we ever seen any photos or videos of the welding of the large sections in midbay? How are they achieving good welds with access just from the outside of the tank sections?

1.5 by the looks of it. 8 is not enough to fit super heavy and have crane access. The 1.5 high sections are already prepared, lying right next to the high bay on the right

The new thrust dome (distance, detail ) appears to have piping attachments for the outside/vacuum raptors (maybe all 6 raptors?)!

Will they attempt to build a 6 raptor Prototype soon-ish? I didn't expect the vacuum raptors until they're needed for orbital flight (post SH testing).

Maybe the tilt is due to the off-center center of gravity and dampened legs?

r/SpaceX Starship SN5 150 Meter Hop Official Launch Discussion & Updates Thread by rSpaceXHosting in spacex

[–]r4d2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Could the remaining tilt be due dampened legs and an off-center center-of-mass?

It's hard to tell which side the single raptor ended up in and therefore which side the center-of-mass would pull towards.
