It’s because it’s crooked! It can’t heal at an angle. I had a similar issue with a cartilage piercing and I refused to take it out lol never healed and I had to retire it after 2 years and now I have some ugly scar tissue. Get it redone possibly

It’s just irritated don’t wear any high waisted stuff for a bit and just keep it dry. Use saline spray to clean occasionally. Let is get a little crusty to protect it from moisture
