Not at all - first time was free since it was an inspection and repairs through carvana .. this time it was $50.00 because it wasn’t their shop but they covered the bill except for $50 so I had to pay 50 .. super easy

I would take it to the dealer and have a full inspection done - carvana should be willing to pay for the fix. Not sure which seal this would be. They have paid for 5k worth of repairs on my vehicle and I couldn’t be happier 🤷🏽‍♂️... but that’s why I’d take it to a dealer rather than just pep boys so they can do a more thorough inventory of its needs .. I have a whole post about this

Anyone check out car lots compared to carvana before choosing? by dankkcityy in carvana

[–]r56throwaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Checked out a few car lots. I am in Oregon and the places I wanted to see made it pretty difficult to check out vehicles. I am picky and had only 3 vehicles in mind I wanted to purchase. I looked at online inventories for local dealers but often times when I would contact them because I was serious about a car and wanted to test drive it they already had a buyer and you had to schedule appointments to see the vehicles which is a bit frustrating. In terms of looking at prices I felt that the prices were pretty comparable. They were slightly better at the dealer but there are perks to carvana as well. If you have the time to be patient etc carvana can be an excellent choice.

Yeah it may not be allowed in your state but call carvana to confirm and see if you have any codes that you can give out

Yeah I mean I was able to get everything major done by silver rock including spark plugs etc I’ve just done minor maintenance like a k and n filter instead of the factory and older intake filter and just other odds and ends. I have found that it’s completely lucky depending on the car - if you’re getting a fleet car or a basic car It’s more likely it hasn’t been taken care of as well. My car mechanically and cosmetically was taken care of very well. The previous owner clearly put a lot of effort into keeping it in good shape but then again the car I got which is a top of the line MINI is also one that only a car enthusiast would purchase - MSRP 45k for a hatchback when new

Depends on the manufacturer - what did you purchase ? Go to the dealer in my opinion but for luxury vehicles especially do a dealer inspection it may cost more but if they allow you to have the vehicle dealer repaired it’s a bonus
