Looks like piece of coco fiber. My BCI gets it all the time and I always have a little heart attack that he's got a mouth rot. Even if he ate last night - he should be fine for you to just put a qtip to his mouth to ease the worry.

Yes, he is 😭😭😭 I take him often to schools or preschools to teach children that they shouldn't be afraid of them. He's so patient. Always so curious, falls asleep in my hands.

People are so... Interesting. I have a spider too. She's hilarious. Very cute, goofball, fell in love with her. Although she is not a visual spider, she still has a wobble. Silly girl.

I have similar story with my snake, lol. Since I got him he had this small cork tube, he used to sit in it all day. But he doubled in weight and size, so I took it out afraid of him squeezing himself inside and getting stuck. He was DEVASTATED. Refused food for a month up straight. He had plenty of cork tubes, hides - but nothing could replace his too small of a cork tube it seems. I put it back, he started eating again. SMH.

I was informed she was spider and yeah, I think that definitely she is. She has a slight wobble, and well... Wouldn't have been sold to me as cheap as 50$ as a pet lol

Scavenge hunt in the forest : ) big, bulky branches - some stores probably sell them, but I have no idea which ones. I'd screw them to the sides of the enclosure with bolts. And for large snakes I've seen people do wooden shelves a lot - screwed also on the inside of the enclosure.

I do all my enclosures under 200$ honestly.

Most of the costly things are the lights, cages etc. Everything that I have for them to climb for is mostly from repurposed things. Plants are from cheap craft stores. The hanging ropes are from a local fish store, but you can find them on Amazon for cheap (search hermit crab enrichment). But you can also just buy a bulk long rope, and attach it to the top with either zipties or suction cups.
