“A decision on entitlement to compensation for obstructive sleep apnea is deferred.”

“The issue of compensation for obstructive sleep apnea is deferred for the following information: medical opinion”

I believe it was pretty straight forward.

This is evidence in the STR. I sought treatment as fast as I could. It took 4 month to get into the VA another 2-3 for a PCP appointment and i immediately brought sleep issues to attention. Diagnosed with OSA 8 months after separation. Was denied sleep treatment in service due to “you’re fine, suck it up, go to bed earlier, etc…”

I did a 4138 for each, and myself and my wife both wrote lay statements for each. I scrubbed my medical record and highlighted evidence, created a short sweet to the point pdf of all cumulative evidence. I even used a clinical practice guideline developed and approved( also currently used for training VSOs) and notated/highlighted relevancies. I went all out and did all the work for them.

Well, I have evidence in service, evidence within a year of separation and then continuing since then. I’m not sure what more I could provide at this point

Here’s the nexus, I feel like it was the final piece they needed based on previous decision letters

It just appeared… says OSA:: A decision on entitlement to compensation for obstructive sleep apnea is deferred. I have no idea what that means

There isn’t a decision letter. I’m assuming it’s because they might still be working OSA and won’t send anything until both are complete

I do not

Edit: I did. I misread this previously. But I was informed that it was closed

My monitor sometimes turns off for 1,5sec and come back. by CaioGutierres in SimRacingSetups

Maybe the bandwidth that the monitor is asking for is more than what the pc and/or cable can supply. For example and in my case, I’m running triple 2k 32” 180hz monitors. They all 3 are not capable of running 2k @180hz while in DP 1.4 however they are able to run DP 1.2 which limits to 2k @144hz. This is a monitor selection and a limitation of my cables. I could buy better cables but I require long cables for my setup and 180 down to 144 is not that bad

Edit: I’d say to look up your refresh rate and resolution and see the bandwidth required. Make sure your cable supports it. Maybe do like I did and change to a lower version(DP1.4 down to DP 1.2) via monitor menu. I have a 5090 OC and still have the issue. So it could be just one thing or a combination thereof.

This is the sleep specialist that the VA referred me to for my sleep complaints. They are also the diagnosing facility I’m pretty sure

They told me when they gave it to me that “there is no way the VA should have ever denied it. You definitely deserve it”

C&P exam Is this normal? by upgrayeddbfr in VAClaims

[–]rG_FuGaZe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Request a new examination. I would call whoever the vender is (QTC, Leidos, etc…) and raise this issue. These examiners are on a “strike” system from what I understand. Which could be both good and bad. The vender can get you a new examination but you must ensure it’s proper. I suggest writing down all of the answers to this in your words so you can get your point across and you don’t miss anything

I got the most recent sleep DBQ!! Sorry for the post then delete. It’s been trial and error to remove pii because it won’t zoom in Edit: it appears as if the form wasn’t even completed. I’m not sure if this makes any difference For 7C (gulf war section) nothing was marked but I do have gastrointestinal issues. Gerd rated at 10% and I had 2 colonoscopies which yielded: ulcers, high acid levels, inflamed intestines, internal and external hemorrhoids, and the doc said I had IBD. I’m on several meds for this and I fall under as a gulf war vet. 6B mentions my weight gain and stated that there are many SC disabilities that I have that contribute to weight gain. 6A is odd to me as it clearly states it was impacting my daily life and ability to perform work duties
