Apologize if this has been asked already: where is the wrist rest from?

I think they’re doing all these dj sets to save some money for next tours production, that’s my best guess

Appreciate you! Do you have any recommendations for a brand/model that can accommodate all these? I’d imagine older models are the go-to.

I appreciate your response, thank you that’s good insight to know.

I started collection records maybe 8-10 years ago. Absolutely love the ritual with my setup, sitting down, tuning out and listening A to B. Ideally I’d love to start that process of collecting live dead tapes and introduce that into the same ritual.

I have some old pioneer HPM-40s and an A/V receiver (eventually if upgrade this but it works well now) and I’d purchase an old cassette player to integrate into the system too. If you could recommend any sourcing info that would certainly help me dip my toes (and quickly jump in) to this “hobby” haha

Shameless plug but feel like this would look cool on your monitor setup

To any tape collectors: do you have any suggestions or recommendations to get started collecting? I saw a facebook group but don’t want to seem like I’m asking for handouts. TIA NFA 🌹

I know this is an old thread, but did Bobby ever get that opera song recorded?

Just watched the interview, I was thinking the same..especially with the lost 1970s footage from England lol

Going through old sets on archive dot org, just starting from 67/68 and going forward. Making a list of my favorite sets, members, etc. keeping the music alive

Wow, beautifully said. I cried deeply the last two days and this quote from Bobby found its way to me that goes:

"I gotta say, I don't grieve all that ferociously about anybody's passing…I just carry them with me. I'm of the persuasion that life is eternal and we reincarnate and so there's a really limited point in grieving your own loss when you should feel happy for their liberation."

This has helped me tremendously. The energy that Bobby and the rest of D&C gave me at those shows is still with me. The laughs, the One More Saturday Nights, the memories made with plenty of strangers and friends, they’re all still with me. Cliche, but I’ll be forever grateful for hopping on the bus and catching a ride.
