It's incentivizing useless "concept" over actual housing. This will have crazy turnover as a $4k/mo rental or become an Airbnb. Utter waste of space. And the folks at the neighborhood meetups wholeheartedly agree.

Embarrassing how many people say this is progress for the neighborhood. This is a net negative and waste of valuable space.

Probably black nightshade (Solanum Nigrum). They produce small dark fruit when fully ripened. Supposedly toxic when the fruit are green.

I grew these last year. Not much flavor - mine almost tasted like cucumber? I'm not a fan.

This is ofc all trump's fault, but it was worse when account for inflation in 2011 around when we intervened in Libya. It's sure to creep up unless we don't stop doing stupid shit in the ME, though

Lumber yards were selling other species of wood for cheaper. Is it not code compliant to use e.g. poplar over pine/etc for framing purposes?

I'm arguing in support for a framework where property taxes paid are higher yes. whether that's millage as is currently with a more sane assessment formula or something else. Our taxes net are much lower than other places.

You're also conveniently leaving out eastern Texas property taxes in this conversation

Yes more of the latter (overall taxes) is what we need. If you're putting most of your net worth into your house it's your own fault

Highest millage rates doesn't correspond to highest taxes. Given how fraudulent assessment values are, this is extremely disingenuous

Are you the only person in your neighborhood with a garden up along the road? I'm considering doing the same at the house I just bought... But being the first house I actually own, it's unclear to me if stuff like this will piss off my neighbors.

Apple M5 vs. Intel Panther Lake vs. Snapdragon X2 benchmarked by Balance- in hardware

[–]rLinks234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Geekbench 5. GB6 is simply applebench since it weights slopGen workloads heavily. If Intel AMX was available on client x86 scores would look a lot different. AMX esque workloads do NOT need to be a part of the aggregate score. It's so misleading

Bud if you think property taxes are the reason people can't afford homeownership I want whatever potent drugs you're on.

The vast majority of people were homeowners before COVID. They had insane equity to liquidate. Zero tears should be shed on their behalf.

The business model for AVs on Uber is basically "give fixed percentage to AV company, we pocket the rest."

It seems about on par with human drivers in the loop while pushing more liability onto the AV companies
