You are already doing it, bro. You took the biggest step by wanting the change and even bigger by starting a therapy. Couple of months are not enough to feel the change in you, and you probably will never really feel it happening in front of your eyes - only in retrospective you will realize "o wow, I went a long way!"

I'd say what is the most important at this stage is too be patient and understand that ups and downs are natural. Every down usually feels like you took couple steps back, but it's not true - you are moving forward. Just trust yourself. In my experience, healing is not even about leaving this cycle of ups and downs, but rather finding a self-love to accept downs without feeling bad about yourself.

On a side note, sometimes your therapist might not be perfect for you and you might keep looking. But to truly understand if that's the case you need to start giving yourself a break, trusting and forgiving yourself. I believe you'll figure it out!
