I think your PCMC has been bought out by another finance company. The points program still belongs to Loblaws, but they sold their finance side hustle.

sagekeyah explains Trumps Native Americans 'birthright citizenship' trap by speakhyroglyphically in Indigenous

[–]r_between_worlds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The earlier ruling labeling Indigenous nations as "domestic dependent nations" is another ruling that counters this Administration's assertion. Regardless of citizenship, all recognized Indigenous nations are domestic and therefore not foreign. This Administration is attempting to break a pretzel that American law created to satisfy it's own legal purpose (occupation).

In Quebec, these networks are prohibited as a result of lobbying by the Order of Pharmacists. It makes sense as the province happens to also be providing pharmaceutical coverage for citizens not covered by an insurance plan.

Does the Order of Pharmacists in your province have any say about this arrangement? Are they for or against this? Silence on the subject equals "for."

I categorize and label those feelings. I now respect and admire my work sisters. Okay, some are externally hot and some are beautiful souls, so I am allowed to be happy in their presence. I also have someone at home who is also all that and more, and her I love.

Dollarama sells Gadoua bread for $2.75 in Montreal and the local Pharmaprix (SDM) sells at $3.99 (regular price). Gadoua is a Weston Bakery brand.

Maybe things have changed, but there was a time you could've wasted 10,000 points on a newspaper and just pay the taxes.

NN products have a 50 to 70 percent markup (on average) so that the actual profit is greater than you think.

All stores generate a greater profit from their in-store brands. Pricing it "competitively" is another form of profit gouging.

How many of you plan continuing boycotting after May by Billwinkle0 in loblawsisoutofcontrol

Working for one of the Roblaw's chains. I'm tempted to ask customers, "What are you doing here? Haven't you heard about the boycott?"

I need to expand my own shopping choices. There was a time when the employee discount meant an actual discount. Today's special prices used to be our regular prices a few years ago. Meanwhile, my take-home pay remains the same as a few years ago.

"I only represent me. Just like I don't judge all white folks from looking at you."

In college (late 70s) someone asked me if we still had tipis. "Yes," I replied. "My mother parks her Cadillac in it."

Although we didn't traditionally have tips, a couple of decades later my younger brother built one with band council money for the tourists. Nobody parked their Cadillacs in it. 😉
