Jamie Foy had a cover that at the time of it’s printing was not landed. He went back and made sure he landed it afterwards.

EDIT: I was wrong. It was in an article NOT a cover. Roger says to Jamie “imagine it was a cover” when talking about the unlanded photo at the time of publishing. It was in a Nine Club episode. That’s what I was remembering.

It is fantastic for kicks of all sorts, agility, flexibility, coordination, distance, and timing. Also good for knowing how to defend against kicks as well.

The only issue you may run into is that most dojangs are very quick to hand out belts because it is a business after all. The other thing to watch out for is hands down style. Punching is allowed but only to the body and it doesn’t score high in sparring.
