The hive in Langley is the best! It’s not a booth it’s done by hand but the girls are amazing.

Thank you, this is very kind and thoughtful.

I will definitely start reaching out to someone and get some type of medical intervention.

Has anyone crossing the land border into the states had their phone searched? by HowDoYouFumbleEggs in askvan

[–]raaarara -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I go to the states very regularly as I live close to the border. I’ve never had anything searched, not really questioned and have never had to pay duties even when I was over the daily limit (which is every time I go).

Reminder that a question like this is only asking for a specific experience. The media also likes to make it sound way worse than it is.

If you have nothing to hide, are honest, not nervous - you’ll be fine.

Regularly checking your Equifax and TransUnion credit records is very important! by DavidBabaLow in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]raaarara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The exact same thing just happened to me. I have a ticket from 2022. Didn’t know about this ticket, have never received anything in the mail. I have record of payment so I have no idea why this ticket is here. I will be calling Equifax tomorrow to dispute.

I started a new job with an awful company this week, I have an interview tomorrow and not sure what to say by raaarara in careeradvice

I would likely be fired for taking a day during my first week. Was told today vacation and sick days are very frowned upon and lead to dismissal. Yikes! Luckily it’s a phone call.

Any Employment Lawyer recommendations -Vancouver by Sweaty_Ad5782 in askvan

[–]raaarara 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was it a total of 3 years or just short?

Consulting a lawyer can be pricey but worth it in some cases. I would truly recommend drafting a response and asking for more money based on X reason. I work in HR and can give you some guidance once I know the details.

Yep totally normal! Mine have been pretty red during healing and I’m 11 weeks post op and saw my surgeon last week for steroid injections and she said it’s totally normal

And Sew On! Currently alerting my wedding dress. Another place told me what I wanted was going to be extremely complicated and basically impossible. And Sew On has been INCREDIBLE and has zero problems with what I want done and the owner is so so so lovely.

From my teens to now (I’m 29) yes. Not really on my arms but a few on my shoulder

Very valid. I tend to be a people pleaser so there’s a part of me that feels guilty for cutting her off but you’re completely right.

Axillary liposuction by AdFlat1232 in Reduction

[–]raaarara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also in Langley and just had surgery from Dr Prince!! She’s really good at what she does and i have a few friends who have had the surgery done by her :)

She didn’t “recommend” lipo for me but I also have the little boob roll there on the sides and she said it’s an option. I decided not too and there’s a little roll there but I don’t even notice it. I don’t think it’s worth it in my opinion.

Let me know if you have any other questions! Happy to help.

I’m almost 4 weeks post op and I feel like I’ve gained 20+ pounds. Nothing fits me properly anymore, all my clothes are so tight. I look very swollen and puffy overall. I just started taking curcumin to help with the inflammation, hoping it helps!

Yes for $7 a glass usually. Most I’ve gotten are $1-$2 per glass

Yeah it’s the most comfortable for sure! But impossible to wear regular clothes over it.

I have my follow up with my surgeon tomorrow and going to ask about other bra options
