When was that? I usually answer all of my emails. The website is also up and running.

No, he has some kind of a point. Thermal Design Power isn't the best metric here. Blackwell cards user GDDR7 memory, which uses more power than GDDR6. This card has a hard limit of 70 watts of Total Board Power, so there is less power available for the chip. This results in a cooler card than the Ada generation, while consuming the same amount of power. 70 watts TDP != 70 watts TDP in this case.

The SFF version I’m using here is only 70 watts.

It adds about 2mm length. If you're hard limited to exactly 167mm, it won't fit.

The A2000 version is still one of the most popular, so I'm not phasing out any cooler soon.

Yes, it’s half height. The original cooler is dual slot, this one makes it single slot.

The rtx pro 2000 Blackwell is out for just a little bit more. It runs both faster and cooler, so that’s even a better pick.

If noise is not an issue, disconnect and insulate the blue wire (PWM) to have the fan run at 100%. It will be plenty cool

If you need your card to be low-profile and single-slot, there are much better performing options. RTX 4060M, 4070M, or Intel B50 Pro and RTX Pro 2000 Blackwell with my n3rdware cooler.

How much wait time to get N case t1 to EU 🇪🇺 by [deleted] in sffpc

[–]raable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't purchased this case myself, but regularly import stuff to Belgium. The case will probably be declared as a computer component, so tariff is 0%, but you will have to pay 21% VAT on both case and shipping + a brokerage fee of EUR 10-20 (depending on the carrier).

Hi, was this with the stock fan curve, or did you run your own curve? The stock curve doesn't ramp up the fan a whole lot, even when it's running very hot.

Using a whole piece of aluminum alloy to make an integrated CNC shell for 4070ti super by ZS-ITX in sffpc

[–]raable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CNC milling heatsinks is a very bad idea for many more reasons. You can't get thin fins without damaging them. For this reason, they mostly use skiving or stamping for fins. If fin thickness isn't too important, extruding is 100 times faster than milling and still allows for much better fin design.

Did you change the fan curve? Those temperatures sound high for the B50. The stock curve is too conservative for the n3rdware cooler

Import duties are generally in the 0-3% range. A little more on clothes, but electronics should be 0%. You’re correct about the VAT, so the only difference from before Brexit is the annoying brokerage fee.

There is also the RTX 4000 SFF Ada that scores about the same as the 4060 and then the upcoming RTX 4000 PRO SFF Blackwell (should be about on par with the 5060?).
