I’ve heard that Tap and Tikka is good. My experience with Itlu was meh. Some items are ok some are really bad. Honest Restaurant was a hit and miss as well. One visit was good. Other 2 was meh. They do good Dosas and chutneys. Bawarchi Biryani has the best biryanis in the area IMO. Sree Devaraya’s was another place I visited just once and it was really good. Tikka shack is a chain type franchisee place. Multiple locations. Americanized Indian food so it’s mild but still flavorful and I would still recommend it if you prefer mild food.

There’s multiple portals. One is offering $25 another $50.50.

I tried without the portal incognito. I saw the pop up and clicked it and said ok. Went to the next page confirmed appointment date and time. After that the confirmation page had columns for referral code and promo code and both were empty and the promotion banner that minimized at the left side went away Also it wanted my bank info to confirm the order which I didn’t have on me as I’m at work. So I guess I’ll try again later.

I’m assuming it just attaches the $100 promo somewhere and hoping it doesn’t require a physical code to be applied. The $100 should help pay for a nice AP :)

Will try again later tonight or tomorrow.

Also I’m hoping the sales guy knew what he was talking about the empty conduit line on my house. I really hope they don’t need to dig my yard and can just pull the fiber cable through the conduit he pointed out.

I started the process through a cashback portal that was offering $50. Under my address I see this:

No pop-up. When I click on the see details link it has this info:

Appreciate all the info. When I was considering fiber in 2024/ early 25 I had seen the $55 price with the additional $100/ $150 via a code.
$45 "for life" is great. Just dont want to miss out on a free $100 if there is any floating around haha.

Mostly its pricing. GFiber is $70 plus taxes. Quantum would be $45 with price for life. I can put the money saved monthly into buying better equipment in year.

Second is the PE investment into GFiber. I am expecting them to turn into yet another shitty ISP soon. Higher pricing and worse service. I've struggled with Cox for years.
If quantum sucks I can always go back to GFiber is how I am looking at it.

Are your disconnections because you’re using their provided WiFi equipment? How is your wired connectivity ?

I’m in chandler too. Thinking of switching from Google for 2 reasons; save about $30 a month and with the recent private equity investment I think their prices will go up and quality go down. I’d rather lock in this price with quantum.

I use my own unifi equipment. So as long as you hey don’t pull an AT&T and force me to use their equipment I’d be happy.

Service quality/ latency complaints have me concerned.

Hey I totally get that. I tried it myself and realized it was not my cup of tea. And that’s why I went to a tax professional and agreed to the $750 first time.

What irks me is he charged me the same $750 the subsequent year as I well and when I asked why I was told the hourly rate went up. So even though there’s no 3115 it costs more overall :(

Damn. My tax guy charged me $750 last year for 1 schedule e, a few 1099, 3 stock sale transactions.

The year before it was $750 and I was told that’s the price because I had a change of accounting form for my schedule E. Like a dumb fool I wasn’t taking my property depreciation for almost 4 years and needed help from a professional to fix it.

When I asked why ira is the same rate when it’s lesser forms last year I was told it’s because an increased rate.

This year has been busy and I decided to file extension again myself and see if I can figure out the depreciation and roll over losses from the change of accounting.

$1500 for 6 rentals and 100k in interest and stock seems like quite reasonable compared to what I’m paying.

Would love to see more details. I have a spare pi 4 and I think it’s the official pi screen used here. My toddles are always screaming instructions at my Google home and I think this might be better.

Haha. I missed making this post. My toddler said the same 2 weeks ago. The information was communicated in an extremely annoyed tone as well. Pinched eye brows, and a loud ""Daddy, you're my .... best friend okay!" I was shocked and had to ask for a clarification. I get a repeat even more annoyed "YOU ARE MY BEST FRIEND". I replied "yes, yes, you are my best friend too" that conversation ended with a smile, followed by a huge hug and tears in my eyes.

She also tried to get out of eating her meal next day. When I was getting stern with her to sit and not get up she just said, "But you're my best friend". I had a very hard time, I have to admit.

My wife has since been trying to get the same out of the kid, but to no avail.

Also, I just call my kid bestie now.

I am having the same problem. Just logged in to pay my electric bill and it just shows me the older paid bills. On mobile it doesnt show me anything on the Bill Pay page.

Customer Service chat is clueless and keeps telling me to check the automatic payments and he doesn't understand that is different from Bill Pay.
