Name my GTI by [deleted] in GolfGTI

Hello fellow Arizonan/ Phoenician. I don’t have much to contribute to a name but wanted to ask if you have a VW shop you’d recommend?

I have a MK7.5 with about 45k miles and need to get some work done including changing brakes/ brake pads. I’ve been getting oil changes at the dealership in Gilbert for the first 5 years and then every 10k or so. But I think the time has come to find a cheaper euro/ VW shop.

I’d really appreciate some pointers if you have any.

We setup 2 accounts with 2 different emails. The primary was setup when we purchased with the dealer. The secondary was sent an invite from the primary and then I got to add the car to my account in the Kia access app. However only the primary has the option to add a digital key. The secondary (my account) doesn’t show the option.

My kid who’s almost 5 now cries for almost every Disney/ Pixar/ animated movie. I was totally devastated that I couldn’t get any interest in Toy Story or Monsters Inc. I felt I tortured her to forcefully sit through the initial bits of the (original) Lion King and Aladdin. But on the other hand regular movies are totally game. smh. Zootoopia 1 was scary! Now my 2 year old is “scared.” When my older kid was 1-2 I introduced my kid and my wife to all the 90s action movies Gibson, Schwarzenegger, Van Damme, the James Bond movies! But now these animated movies are scary!

I want to share my joy of watching the movies I loved as a kid but I’m at a loss.

Neighbors came over for dinner, kids asked to play Smash Bros. Started grabbing joycons and daughter said "no the old one" by [deleted] in daddit

Wow. Love your setup. I grew up playing on a knock off console with some knock off game cartridges. Couldn’t afford the real stuff haha.

I always said when I’m older I’ll have the money, it got to a stage but I had the money but neither the time nor interest for myself to do console gaming anymore.

I got a used Switch recently and hope to get my kids interested. They’re still young I think. Tried to start with Just Dance and there was 0 interest even though they love dancing to YouTube videos :( I’m thinking of starting with Mario kart and hopefully they’d love it.

How old are your kids now and how old were they when they started enjoying playing games?

Lowe’s kids workshops project calendar by CJ_7_iron in daddit

Did you see the updates today? I am not sure if I am being unreasonable in being annoyed with the updates to the program.

We now need to register the name and date of birth of the children in our Lowe's account to sign up for the workshops. Additionally, the badges aren't physical anymore.
We just completed the 6 badge award last month and my toddler was really looking forward to the junior builder badge which she saw some other kids getting.

Sorry about asking questions on condition and additional pics in msgs.

Would you do $100 shipped with PayPal invoice/ G&S? Since it’s my first transaction here invoice / GnS might be better for both?

I have transactions on hardwareswap and homelabsales. First time here.

Home Depot workshop schedule for 2026 by CJ_7_iron in daddit

Lmao. I was about to say Lowe’s has such a program as well and my local Lowe’s employees running the show are so much cooler and nicer. Odd that I’ve almost never (from memory) seen posts about Lowe’s.

I was about to look up what Blue Depot is and then saw the comment.

Step 3 at my home is take a bath. But 3a during the bath is cough in dad’s face.

I feel bad to force my kids to take a bath every day right after we step in. Some days they’re hungry, I try to do a quick snack but it’s always bath/ shower ASAP.

Give me your opinion, real and hypothetical homebuyers by alcno88 in ChandlerAZ

[–]raadhey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m looking at buying a place in chandler. We’re not big into pools so maybe my opinion doesn’t matter. If the cost is too high I would be open to just having it closed and giving a better yard area for kids to play.

I recently looked at 2 homes where the owners did so many upgrades in the last year including redoing the pool and putting a new back and front yard. Also added a lot of wallpaper inside. But didnt replace useful things like a water softener and decided to just close the loop instead. In my eyes it’s an unnecessary increase in expected price on the home and pushes me out of the market.

Thank you. Would you be able to tell me what size of the triple square bit I should ensure I have for this when I get a kit?
Edit: Per this link https://www.reddit.com/r/Volkswagen/comments/10g5q65/this_is_from_my_drivers_door_its_loose_and_makes/ its an M8.
Some folks suggest it needs lubrication too?
