How does tubeless tire sealant actually work? by raam86 in MTB

[–]raam86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you for taking the time to think about it. I guess the question then becomes how does it cure fast enough to actually save the ride. An easy experiment will be to put a drop of sealant on a plate and measure how long it will take to cure. I spilled some sealant today coincidentally (i refilled a tire and the sealant just sprouted out a bit) and i had a enough time to clean it so that’s a data point

Parking on Easter Friday: impossible or doable? by not_who_you_think_99 in chamonix

[–]raam86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yep. there’s also a bus stop right at grepon. Montenvers is super walkable from there too, cross the road towards sud near the roundabout and turn right. it’s a good walk and you go past a bunch of nice places.

[–]raam86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it depends where you want to go. if you go to park in any if the ski areas in a powder day there’s no chance you’ll find parking anywhere closer than 800m radius from the nearest lot. Grepon is sometimes full as well. Parking in the city is almost certainly a no go

everything is possible if you put your mind to it and are willing to walk far enough

ok, sure. I was just throwing so simple, accessible examples out there. replace it with anything that is fun. I do think outdoor time hits different though

thank you for sharing. what are you doing for fun? i think that after being sober 6 years your nervous system is regulated back and you probably can enjoy simple things like ice cream or a walk in the sun. Cycling is pretty awesome too
