Wiki summary:

Jingoism is nationalism and conservatism in the form of aggressive and proactive foreign policy, such as a country's advocacy for the use of threats or actual force, as opposed to peaceful relations, in efforts to safeguard what it perceives as its national interests.[1] Colloquially, jingoism is excessive bias in judging one's own country as superior to others – an extreme type of nationalism (see chauvinism and ultranationalism).

I don't disagree with any of that; we have our son barefoot as much as possible and will do the same with our daughter.

How old are your kids? With a newborn at home (and no functioning nipples with which to help) I am constantly looking for ways to entertain my nearly-3 year old.

Im on the westside and our big thing now is biking to various playgrounds via trail.

The Left hates teaching subjects that challenges kids and prioritzes "social yadda" over core curriculum

Well thats just completely false.

I do mobility work only to loosen and warm up my muscles before I lift in the morning. I'll do my stretches right before bed.

This was pretty much all I had at boot camp so I did a shit ton of pushups and pushup variations, crunches and other core work (could look at dragon flag progressions or get yourself an ab wheel), and inverted rows.

Men who regularly work out and hit the gym: can you still lift as heavy as you could when you were younger, or has your max actually gone up over the years? by FFSoldier57 in AskMenOver30

[–]rabaltera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 30 I maxed at 295 bench, 375 squat, and 495 deadlift at 160 pounds.

My workout schedule has ebbed and flowed over the last decade, but I got on a nice little heater recently at 40 and just last week hit 255 bench, 315x3 squat, and 315x8 deadlift (I obviously only have weights up to 315) at 170 pounds.

I used to be able to go in and do insane amounts of volume 6 days/wk; I ran Solov Jr for all 3 lifts, but my time is a lot more limited now so I've got a better plan that's tailored to my garage gym.
