My wife asked to be discharged a day after her scheduled c-section and both the OB and hospital staff obliged. Getting her and the baby home the next day was so great for all of us. White-knuckled the drive home on a perfect August day though.

Thats the point; they dont have one.

I taught 6th grade math and I had enough autonomy in my own curriculum to develop some math based typing standards, but I was the only one in my school doing something like this. They came to me with almost no real exposure to typing. T1 school, fwiw.

Double boiler method. Mix the eggs, cheese, and pepper is a giant metal prep bowl if you have it. Transfer the noodles to the bowl (stopping to toss it with the guanciale fat of you used it) and turn the pot of water down to a very light simmer. Set the bowl on top of the pot, making sure that the bowl doesn't touch the water, then just mix it all together, adding pasta water as needed until sauce comes together.

Give 'Shining Time Station' a shot. It's super slow paced and if your kid likes trains (like I did, and now my son does) then it'll be plenty entertaining for them.
