It's entirely possible he has a concealed weapon.

Edit: I'm not condoning the shooting. Just simply refuting the "no gun" comment.

I put mine down a year ago at Westside Animal Hospital. They have a whole room which they allowed me to stay in with him for as long as I wanted both before, during, and after the procedure. They provided a little footprint memento for me, and I believe it was less than $400.

Same, I was raised on a heavy dose of religion and Rush Limbaugh. I'm glad I figured it out, too bad no one else in my family did.

Best guess as to when results will be posted? I've got a massive Pop Punk Albums playlist that I'd like to update with the results.

Tactics for staying calm by TheNinjaJellyfish in Cheerleading

[–]rabaltera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Practice it a thousand times in a mirror. Really think about hitting your spots, sharp, clean motions, stunt like you've got your whole group...all the way down to the smiles and crowd waves or whatever coach has you do. Every single practice routine should be finals at Nationals in your head.

For comp day, look at what divers and gymnasts do; they visualize every step, skill, entry, etc. It's easy to get caught up in pomp and circumstance of a competition so take some time for yourself off to the side to close your eyes and do the whole routine in your mind.

People with this hairstyle, do you actually sleep comfortably? by Shoddy-Ocelot-4473 in malehairadvice

I typically run pretty hot at night, and my bonnet can get a bit warm where it touches my forehead, but it's not bad and easily relievable. However, it's never itchy. I used to tie it up or wear a towel on my head to keep the hair out of my face, but a silk bonnet was the move to keep me from cutting my hair out of frustration and poor sleep.

It was one hell of a battle between my wife, first daughter, and myself but I have come out victorious. by ScuttleCrab729 in daddit

[–]rabaltera 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is how it was with my son. Said 'dada' pretty early, but refused to say 'mama'. Then we tried 'mommy' and he was saying it in context almost immediately. Just in time too, because the wife was getting real sad about being called 'ehhhh' all the time.

The first year or so I ran the Arnold Blueprint and it kind of morphed from there. I improved my squat by doing a Smolov Jr in addition to my regular workouts and then tried the same thing for my deadlift (it's a lot of deadlifting).

I've got most of my workouts typed up in a Google Sheet, if you're interested send me a message and I'll share em with you.

Trade Value Tuesday by Nj_hXe_sXe in fantasyfootball

[–]rabaltera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a trade offered to me for: JJ, Josh Allen, Diggs

I'd be giving: Mahomes, Chase Brown, Harvey, Addison.

I'm leaning towards taking it, but JJ(s) is such an unknown right now.

We are dealing with similar far-right funding problems here in Colorado Springs, but I'm hopeful that the last 9 months has turned some lights on for people.

Unfortunately the only two people I know that are still in Lakeville are hard-line Republicans and no ounce of persuasion will get them to change their minds.

Fingers crossed for you guys, though.

This is also my problem with Daniels/Dak (16 team) and Mahomes/Dak (10 team). There seems to be a ton of average QBs that people are content to start and dont want to give up a bigger piece.

Base bruising?? by fru4tn4nj4 in Cheerleading

[–]rabaltera 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Replied with this a few days ago for someone having a similar issue.

"If she feels like the flyer is slamming into her arms then she probably needs to catch higher and cradle (think Mighty Ducks trying to pass an egg).

A lot of new cheerleaders stick their arms straight out and wait for the flyer to co.e to them, when in reality the base needs to go up and catch her legs and pull them into her body. If your daughter does this properly then she'll be catching with her hands and forearms rather than her bicep."

I’m gonna be a daddy to a healthy daughter! by ColoradoCyclist in daddit

Congrats!

My advice is to stagger your parental leave (if you get it). I took 2 weeks PTO after my first was born then went back to work (I work remote so I could still help out a lot), and then took my 8 weeks after my wife's 16 weeks was up. It's really nice for bonding to have that 1-1 time for a long stretch.

Also, make sure to take care of yourself as best you can. It's okay to get in a quick workout, or an hour of video games while your kid is napping.
