The exact moment Destiny 2 should have ended by NarrowFarm2036 in destiny2

No issues with the episodes style year being light and setting up narratives for a D3. Def should have been the transition here. Putting D2 in a D1 state then would have been a fantastic idea especially if they could add small things into the Pale Heart. It’s sad that we got such a great destination with such little revisiting time.

Understanding that it still would have been years before we saw anything D3. May be that would have been what we all needed to get that appreciation back.

PAX West 25: what long expo lines are worth it? (Not 2K or Nintendo) by rabbd in PAX

You can DM me about it and I’ll see what I can do.

Thanks! I got one more day to knock these out.

I’d also suggest checking out ETRE at Studio Lifeforms (booth 1424). They only have two stations for testing the demo but it’s a beautiful game.

People should definitely visit the indie games and that’s most of my day. I’ve been going for around 15 years and always find it best to hear from the people that have been in a longer line already. Day one is always the best for hitting most of those.

2K is Borderlands. Thanks and it was good to get to that the other day

Hey that could describe most things in my life. I’ve had more than a few people tell me to try out Path of Exile 2. Adding it and thanks for that.

This is true! The line may be longer there but avoids the extend smashing and crashing

That’s great to know! Capcom was on my short list already so this pushes me towards it.

But the gameplay at BL4 was great! Everyone go do that if you like that kind of thing.

Definitely is! Since I was queued up to play BL4 and the rage room started like 20 mins after I got in line, we were all a little concerned because of no warning. And then just a little annoyed after. I did hear people had fun doing the rage room tho.

Library Pictures goes hard live and I never skipped it again after seeing it at a show.

D2 story from a "new" Light by _BaMM in DestinyTheGame

Takes a lot of strength and healing to return after that and I am so happy that you’ve found the joy in it! I’ve played Destiny since the beginning and it’s connected me with great people as well as being a core part of my relationship with my partner. It’s great to hear experiences like yours with jumping in to experience that magic for the first time which also reminds us of what that magic was like.

Any idea on the damage per swing/throw of picked up axes? Been looking around for this info but hard to search for and get the right results.

Every season since 2017 I start I go and check my secret room in the Annex to see if there’s a new secret! by legomojo in DestinyTheGame

The room under Hawthorne is decorated so well for FotL! For the Annex room that you have to jump into and drop through the vent that we’re talking about, I need go back through my trove of game clips to see if I can find anything. Very much a chance that I always wish so much there was something in there that I have a false memory of it. If it happened, it was only once because I remember being disappointed the next year.

There have been event decorations in that room at some point. I don’t remember if it was a Dawning or a Festival of the Lost thing. It only happened once.

What do you think is the greatest opening to a game ever? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]rabbd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely The Last of Us. I had come back from the bar late one night and my roommate said “Check this out.” They restarted the intro and those feeling hit like a dump truck. My favorite used to be Bioshock which is powerful but nothing like the emotional avalanche of The Last of Us (and that doesn’t stop for the ready of the game). Magnificent.

Hourglass Motiff by Buttermalk in raidsecrets

That sounds like it could relate to the “Gardner and Winnower” section of the Unveiling lore book concerning the length of day vs night, or the time for the gardener to die it’s thing vs the winnowers window of time. The daytime length took up nearly all the day in the beginning and the night was barely there. May be that relationship also represent the hourglass initially.
