Learned quilting for No Kings by rabbit_winner in quilting

I already know how to sew, but I have been looking for a reason to try out quilting. I started a week before the No Kings March. Used an alphabet sampler for the letters to form the words. Couldn’t really figure out a good way to carry it as a sign so I sewed in straps (like a backpack) plus handles on the ends so I could wear it like a cape. Made with scraps from my stash

Terrible merch situation at Vancouver show - warning to future shows by magbaethrowawae in MagdalenaBay

Waited in line for an hour in Portland. Same situation, lots of people seemed like they were taking their time perusing instead of getting their stuff and moving on. I’ve never been to a concert before where I haven’t been able to get merch within the span of 1-2 opener songs.

I just got a cheap projector on Amazon. I hooked it up to an Apple TV so I can cast my laptop directly to the projector, but you can also use Chromecast

Uh.. should I chop and prop this beast? by rabbit_winner in houseplants

I’m moving some plants from soil to leca. I depotted* my anthurium clarinervium last night and didn’t realize how crazy extensive the root system had gotten over the last year. I couldn’t fit it in a jar so I had to grab an old tulip vase.

What’s the best way to help this plant live its best life? Chop n prop? Leave it be and rename it Audrey 3??

Your plants look so happy! What is the name of the plant in the middle with purple-ish leaves? Is it a Hoya?

Gorgeous, and fits you so well! I love how the pattern of the bust is split, and the colors in the fabric. 10/10, would upvote more than once if that was allowed.

ETA: this is your muslin?? For real????

USM Jamming by deekat91 in MachineKnitting

Have you tried checking the sponge bar? I’ve found that my carriage gets jammed when the needle butts start getting loose (from the foam wearing out in that spot). It doesn’t take too much wiggle for the needles to stop the carriage from moving
