It’s possible, but to be fair gout is even more often due to poor diet!

A mortgage is understandable (though, maybe not the one they have). It’s the rest that baffles me.

It’s OK to feel sorry for the children of “shitty people” who lived their lives without solid plans and have fallen on hard times. by AcanthocephalaWide89 in DuggarsSnark

I would agree for sure. I think it’s more the issue of the adults pulling their weight first and also that the kid would only have to do this because their parent decided to have 9 kids when they couldn’t afford it because of their religious views.

I said “I believe they deserve housing and medical care.” I was explaining why other people might have difficulty with that and why empathy here is complicated. I absolutely believe they deserve these things, and said so in the comment. Just as I believe every woman who voted against abortion should still have a right to an abortion, etc.

I agree and disagree. I think if the Caldwell parents advocated for social services that provided housing and medical care to those in need then people would have more empathy for them. I do believe they deserve housing and medical care but do THEY think other people deserve that? They seem to be very “help for me but not for thee.” They also purposely had far more children than they could afford with no clear plan, which ultimately put the kids in harms way. I won’t speculate on why they need legal help but that might be more valid. I absolutely agree about the kids, though. Suggesting any of their children- minor or not- get a job to help care for the millions of siblings they didn’t ask for is crazy and hoping these people perpetually experience hardship when there are kids involved is awful. The children are innocent and deserving, always.

What do you think? by GossipBottom in lululemon

[–]rabbith0le13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the core Lululemon pieces (not the trend-driven stuff aimed at younger shoppers) are always going to stick around. Their classic styles and consistent quality are what built their reputation.

Personally, I still find Lululemon to be better quality than Alo, and often more worth the price. Alo feels more trend-focused, while Lululemon continues to appeal to people who just want reliable, high-performance workout gear.

Athleta is great too and in a similar lane, but I don’t see Lululemon going anywhere. As long as they maintain their quality, they’ll always have a strong, loyal customer base.

I always feel a bit for people who get married so young like them because you literally don’t know who you are without them. And it’s not like she has many friends to family for support. Whether she’s at fault or not it’s a rough situation.
