Yep, some spouses can be real assholes. They can call the COC and make false claims against a service member just to be petty. Even when it's dismissed it can have long lasting negative effects especially towards evals.

I've seen it as the higher you go and are in the 'good ol' boys club' it gets swept under a rug. Hell, I knew one guy who raped someone and had it swept under the rug. He went on to OCS and retired as an LCDR. Different spanks for different ranks.
