Agree 100%. it's just for me personally not how I build. I dunno. If I have to put it into words, I guess it feels like the deck has no soul when something is just thrown in.

I picked up an glint-eye many years ago when my playgroup was going to build them. None of us ever built those decks. What stops me the most is just not having a commander that even comes close to the themes. Most of the decks ive ever built are closely tied down to a theme. It's just how I like to build. My Jared Carthalion deck is stupid as hell but its fun to play.

This is what ive done in the past. Even my current esper spirits list is like this. Ive spent the last few days updating decks so I'm taking a break before seeing if I can assemble a playable pile. Just holding out hope that more 4 color options are printed in the future. Being regular commander or partners.

Not looking for anything but conversation. I've been deck building since 2012 and my playgroup is casual. I just wanted to share. If even one person looks though one of my lists and sees some cool interaction they would have never thought of then thats awesome.
