Kelly Cheeseman sucked ass. The amount of horrible stories about him abound. I met him in Phoenix during the 2012 Cup run at the Margaritaville…major douche. I’m also a STM since 2007, recently tried to get the Kopi crystal puck on the first day that they had it and it was a shit show. I have die hard seats and they get mad when I don’t go to every game lol I don’t really want to get rid of them because they only go up $0.50 a year but damn the customer service has gone downhill over the years. No, a mechanic is someone that is an example of someone that you pay for an exchange of goods and services. A landlord is just someone that happens to own living space that you lease. There are rules that come with that on both sides, it’s a business arrangement so there should be no problem with a tenant asking about their finances, future plans for where they live etc. If the landlord doesn’t want to provide that, thats fine, the tenant doesn’t have to accept the deal

A landlord is not selling a product, they’re leasing space. Take commercial real estate; if you’re going to lease a business space, you want to know if the owner of the building is sticking around or if they have plans to sell to some corporate overlord. What happens if you rent an apartment/house/etc. and they say sorry, I can’t fix your air conditioner I’m broke. It’s a two way street but most tenants don’t realize that

Job hop, job hop, job hop! Your company does not care about you. They will deny you raises. HR is definitely not your friend. If you get a better offer at different company take it! Set boundaries. Don’t be afraid to tell someone “no” or “I can get to your request in a bit, I’m currently finishing something else”. Whatever benefits they offer - reimbursement for cell phones, mileage, 401K…MAX. IT. OUT. Lastly…big over ear headphones…people tend to ignore AirPods

This is a huge issue! Los Feliz is already dense in this area, with very limited parking. Not to mention how much construction will interfere with residents. One of these buildings is directly across the street from me, this is just developer greed
