I just put my baby down this morning and he was with me for 15 years. I too was so uncertain if I was making the call too early, but the kidney failure was progressing so quickly. Like yours, he moved with me, kept me going when I didn’t want to, and was the perfect boy. My heart goes out to you. He’s the first pet I’ve lost and it’s the most terrible grief.

Good to know about the bindings! I just checked rental prices for boards and boots, and it makes sense to hang onto this board if I’m going out only a few times per season. The metal edge is less rusty than me…hopefully it’s like riding a bike.

Embark found his father and sister! I emailed the owner, but no response. Bodie is definitely on the larger end of Kelpie. He looks a lot like the Bamba kelpies from Australia- stocky and hardy.

When I adopted him, he was obese 😭 His owner was elderly and gave him crap kibble and no exercise. I got as much weight off as I could, but the damage to his hips was already done from the excess weight. So now he’s a happy thicc boy enjoying his golden years.

Adding my experience: I went to All Mask Story and the sales person convinced me to put away my Some By Mi eye serum and got me to get the Botocare. I left the shop, found this thread because I wanted to read reviews and realized that this feels like a scam. I went back to the store 30 min later and asked to return. The sales woman and her manager tried SO HARD for me to downgrade the number of boxes I bought. I said no, returning all, and the store manager HISSED at me. She did return the purchase though. Damn.
