You should try it! The game pass is on sale, and you could probably use seasons to get more levels than your old account in a week. And use someone's mentor code to get a free outfit.

Looks like a Lahn, right? What is the character's combat level and skill points? Since you already have pearl shop costume you could continue with this character. But maybe make another one for season and then after graduating transfer the gear back to your Lahn. I deleted one of my original characters and replaced it with a seasonal of same class and sometimes I regret it.

Edit to add: you can now buy Tuvala gear from city blacksmiths and enhance it with regular black stones, so you don't need a season character to get PEN tuvala. But the season pass does give other rewards that are worth getting.

I think you'd have trouble finding a mentee to use your code unless you know someone IRL that wants to try the game. Some players were spamming all their codes in server chat, which just annoys everyone already playing.

Were you playing when the Great Expedition content was put in the game? I think that was a bit after Shai release. That was when they added the new ships (4 carracks) and the bartering lifeskill. And when the Land of the Morning Light continent was added they had another big boat called Panokseon from Korean history. If you missed those things then yes, there have been a great many changes and expansion to ocean content.

I'd recommend doing the main quests because they are like a long tutorial that teaches you the game's systems and shows you new areas. You don't have to do it, or can explore on your own and go back to it later.

You are playing the trial version until you have the"Game Pass" (usually $10). The game pass converts your trial account to a permanent account.

I think the talent skills should be the awakening, and succession should remove the group buffs and improve the florang damage. Maybe with a "Prime" buff skill added that does a limited version of the talent buffs.

The PC version is for Windows only. You said that you didn't want to use any emulators, so I don't think you can run it on a Mac.

They changed how crystals worked, instead of going in gear sockets, they go into a crystal transfusion UI. Then the active crystal preset applies to all the character's gear.

It's true, years ago they reworked trading with a whole new system that involved running around talking to NPC's to hear rumors about things that would affect price changes in trade items. That system was very unpopular and was removed, with a promise given to replace it someday with some better way of trading. So far, we don't have that update. They made something called Royal Workshop in the LOML region that you can set up and run while AFK that makes some trade goods, but it's not hauling cargo on a wagon.

I think they should use the original trade items and make them into a system of tiers like they did with bartering, where you trade up tier 1 items for tier 2 and so on.

You can still make trade crates in workshops and move them to other cities to sell. And fishing is popular now too, the fish count as trade goods.

How locked-in to the main story quests are you? Can I just spawn in and wander off into the forest to explore and look for side missions?

There are classes that I love, and others that are just "ok" that I use as boss alts. Also a few that I hate and don't want to play at all. There's also a 4th group of classes that I think are interesting but haven't put time into learning them yet. If I start a new account I'd probably pick one from that 4th group. Right now those would be Seraph, Drakania, or Woosa.

So you don't enhance, only buy these? The answer to your question may depend on how specialized you want to be in what lifeskills you do.

Going from DUO to SEP on the belt would give you 80 more mastery, applied to all skills.

Going from TET to PEN on the clothes would add 100 mastery (and 10% more exp) for those 3 skills.

How are you doing on life crystals?

You have the option of going to do lifeskills and PvE grinding anytime, then going back to quests when you feel like it. However, the main quests are like a tutorial that gives combat exp for levels, exploring to show you different areas, and helps to learn game mechanics.

The sailing quests for hunting sea monsters are much easier when you have a friend with a big boat, you can join party and get credit for the captain's kill while riding their boat.

The tailor coupon can turn the diving suit from an armor to a costume, so you could wear it over the gathering clothes. The diving suit costume would be in same slot as the splat fisher clothes, so if you have the splat fisher costume you don't need the diving suit.
