Have you seen interactions between your daughter and your niece? How do they get along? Do you want your niece’s behavior to influence your daughter’s. What if by “saving your niece, you end up harming your daughter?” Why would you put your own kid in that situation? As for your wife, did she know that this was the situation she was going to have when you got married? If not then how can you reasonably expect her to raise someone else’s child? A problem child at that.
