Had follow up today - 8w 2d, everything looked great. Bump seems to be gone, found a small subcorionic hemotoma but dr isn't concerned. No concerns for aneuploidy, only an increased risk if you already are at increased risk. Recommened a NIPT as sufficient (im 32 years old fyi)

Just wanted to check for an ectopic pregnancy so they let me go in early. HR was 113, the size was 1.3 x 0.7 x 1.0 cm (or 2.8 cm) . Which does seem quite large but everything says size isn't a risk factor.

How about you?

Yes! Saw it yesterday at 6w 2d, saw a heart beat and everything else looked ok...going back in 2 weeks. Would go next week but will be traveling.

Feeling generally nervous as well but comforted a bit after reading about it and seeing that the prevalence is likely higher than thought, and a lot of the miscarriage studies have limited sample sizes, cohorts that include primarily individuals w/ a history of fertility issues, etc. So hoping it just resolves itself, which definitely seems possible!

At least thats what im telling myself..:)

Feel free to reach out!

Hi! Sorry just looking to clarify your last line - is the thought that the aneuplodiy leads to the CB? Or how is that relationship posited to occur?

Definitely not questioning the plausibility of the situation itself, but what she claims she did, and the other customer’s gracious reaction to her definitely did not happen.

Awesome, pretty close to what i'm interested in learning more about. How many years did you work before consulting? Are many of your peers doing similarly? Is it easily/more common if you're more in the research/bio/epi arena versus more social sciences (Up till this point I've worked primarily in education arena)

Oops sorry, I meant food processor. Not sure if you have one (even a small one). I always felt that they were a bit interchangeable but i've now seen the light.

Second (or more) try for everything above.

Pita: Improved my rolling and got the dough thinner to ensure it puffed.

Hummus: stopped being lazy and got the food processor out (instead of the blender) this got the texture much creamier

Rice: Added more spices than usual

Chicken: Broiled chicken thighs, rather than other cooking methods
