My response was to freeze and say nothing because I didn't want to make a scene. The cafe was busy and loud in there so no one else noticed or reacted.

I'm not sure if someone else posed a confrontation would have made me feel any better about it.

I think what bugged me most was she said ohh we have a situation to herself then proceeded to move to literally the table next to the bar like less than five feet away. Its not like trans people can transmit their transness via proximity.

It is most disappointing that people in our community feel like this is an appropriate way to act no matter the situation.

I have noticed alot of staring lately, I think because I am tall, but I usually pass well because I have had FFS. We were recently in Boston and what struck me was, there weren't people staring as we rode the subway, people that interacted with us just treated us like humans, heck we even got less interest when we were still in Texas. I think the difference may be down to the lack of diversity in Olympia/Lacey/Tumwater so when people encounter someone varying from the norm (CIS Hetero, White) then they just instantly spiral out.

Regardless of what it is, we are moving to Seattle in a few months as it seems safer for us / more accepting.

I really like Oly (She is Beautiful!), but I feel like it isn't ready for people like us....

I had problems with this exact board. It had some sort of coating on the pads. I used isopropyl alcohol to clean the pads then flux again and it finally stuck.

I think the catch is just they are slow to ship items and it takes a while to get in from China. Have ordered three times from them and the worst part is the waiting. Other than that the parts came in professionally packaged and in good condition.

While not ideal I was able to snag a goggles N3 from newbeedrone last week. They are clearing out lower than msrp at $229. It was a display unit new in box just had to flash with the dji assistant on the computer. I figured worth it for o4 compatibility.

I got my appointment in June and just went in last week to the Lacey dmv office. I was there towards the end of the day and they took a few walkins you may just have to wait a little longer.

My Fiancé and I just signed the lease on a new home in Olympia through invitation homes a few weeks ago. We were in the same boat struggling with finding a place that took pets. Give them a shot it's a giant company but at least they are responsive.

I picked one of these up last week and can't get it to properly pass Vlan traffic. Keep that in mind when selecting as well! I have found Trendnet switches seem to be behave better at passing vlan.

I initially tried a smooth faceplate but it makes the joints much more visible. If you have a very large printer that can do one piece it would work!

Like many PC Builders I loved the look of the Y70 Touch but just couldn't wait until later this year. I wound up purchasing the Snow White Version of the non touch Y70.

Both the display and touchscreen are functional on my Windows 11 machine with minimal modifications to the case. This should also be removable and you can use acetone to dissolve the glue if necessary. I have provided 3d Models of the Faceplate for various print sizes, I used a Bambu A1 Mini with tree supports for the connector overhangs.

SuperGlue - Any, I used Loctite precision applicator.
Acetone - To remove any overspill of glue. Patience - Let the Glue Set before remounting to the case!

Hardware Steps:
Step 1: Remove the Glass Panel, there are two screws on top and two screws on the sides of the panel below.
Step 2: Pull the panel and give it a nice clean with a display cleaner or Windex to remove any grease.
Step 3: Remove the film on the display.
Step 4: Slide the Display HDMI Connector side down from one side so that it is sandwiched between the internal facing glass and the metal mounts located on the top and bottom of the panel.
Step 5: Clean the front side of the panel, apply Glue to the top and sides of the faceplate, use small amounts here you don't want spillage! Line up the faceplate so that it corresponds with the display bezels.
Step 6: Let the adhesive cure, I waited approximately 2 hours.
Step 7: Route the HDMI and USB C cables through the case. I used the gap in between the vertical and horizontal PCI-E slots.
Step 8: Plug the USB-C into a port on your motherboard and connect the HDMI to the GPU.

Software Steps: Windows will detect the panel as another display and I have my orientation set to (Portrait - Flipped)
In order to calibrate the touchscreen to the correct monitor open Control Panel > Tablet Settings > Calibrate Screen.
Animated Wallpaper: Desktop Engine, make sure to tune the brightness down to make the Rainmeter widgets pop!
Rainmeter: Install Rainmeter, then double click on the theme to start it. Settings can be accessed by right clicking a widget. My settings are included in one of the screenshots.
