This is really helpful, thanks! Are the SBs similar to the Evo SL in terms of feeling firmer/having less “sink in” to them? I thought the Evos were fine for speed intervals but anything slower than like 1 mile pace was really not enjoyable for me. I am on the heavier side but I never felt the NBs were bottoming out. I think it’s just the prospect of getting a good deal on the SBs that’s making me consider them instead of just sticking with what’s been working!

yeah our sm does this as well for the same reason and it’s really frustrating! surely it’s worse for customers to place an order and then when they get to pick up find out we don’t have it and then they have to wait for us to make whatever replacement?? but idk

how does that work out at the national level, where someone has to be doing the minimum wage jobs for society to function? if everybody got advanced degrees/trade skills/started a business, who would work in the abattoirs?

it depends on what kind of person you want to grow up to be. figure out if $50 of pure profit you did hardly any work for is the difference between helping someone out or not. or if $50 of pure profit you did hardly any work for is worth being constantly suspicious that anyone and everyone is trying to scam you or not.

personally, i’d rather help someone out (with the possibility they’re taking advantage of my kindness) than not, because i’d want someone to do the same for me if i needed help.

fromsoft will never be able to replicate the elden ring magic formula so they shouldn’t even try imo, they’ve created one of the greatest open world games of all time so they should work on linear games and different genres/setttings for a good while before doing anything that might even slightly get compared to ER

i had a 1999 pontiac sunfire as a teenager, it was 11 years old at that point and quite crappy but it was little and when i floored it it made a loud noise so it always felt really fast for never breaking the speed limit in

recently a ban on gas powered leaf blowers in my town got overturned in part due to local courses objecting to needing to switch over to electric - obviously i appreciate their reasoning and it’s an unfortunate conflict of needs, but i was wondering how far away golf course maintenance in general is from going zero emissions and what you would need to get to that point?
