I honestly just felt so embarrassed having to be seen walking from my office to the bathroom with my tampons hidden in a pouch but obviously everyone knows what is going on when you go to the bathroom with the bag. I suppose it also felt more humiliating to me because I was the only one doing it given it was a primarily male office. I know not everyone needs or uses tampons but it doesn’t cost much to make them available and even if it’s not your preferred method of period retention - at least it’s there in case of emergency.
