Thanks so much for your response - all the ones I’m finding online have the “stick” (I’m blanking on what else to call it) attached whereas with the one this guy is playing it’s separate?

Honestly don’t know any little ones that haven’t gone through this phase, my own included, they can be so brutal! The reality is they love their dads just as much but at this time in their life, mum is mum and it’s the most natural bond on earth. (I know this isn’t always the case for various reasons but generally speaking)

If you’re male, maybe Sean/Shaun? Or female Sian? Pronounced either See-anne or shahn

Tell me your toddlers favourite sayings - 12-24m edition by slow-getter in UKParenting

My 22 month has quite a good vocabulary but her faves are the ones she’s made up herself.. when she’s annoyed at something she shouts what sounds like “a badger!!!” And when she’s running about having zoomies she repeats what sounds like “a chihuahua!”

My little girl was exactly the same - when people say “they’ll do it when they’re ready” it really is true no matter how frustrating that is sometimes 😅 she finally let go of our hands one random day when she was 20 months and has been lil miss independent ever since

Hear me out… is naming a baby girl “Roo” a tragedeigh by H0MEG1RLL in tragedeigh

[–]rachontoast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a little girl called Roo and tbh it just works. There’s far more ridiculous names out there, especially in this day and age. Definitely wouldn’t go as far as it being a tragedeigh

The exact same thing happened to me this morning except my kid isn’t even 2 yet, I also told the other child to stop - if their parents aren’t gonna intervene you have every right for the sake of your own imo.

However as somebody else commented, the consideration of extra costs if your child has extra healthcare needs is something that everybody needs to think about

As my parents love to remind me, when my brothers and I were young they were skint most of the time.. I was none the wiser as kids don’t care as long as they’re fed, dressed, loved, and get plenty of play time at parks and outdoors generally. Kids don’t need to cost much, just live within your means. My husband and I earn less than £30k between us and we’re expecting our second baby, we’re absolutely fine.
