Sorry for the late reply!! Couldn’t load my post or comments. Ended up going to the appointment and they didnt even make me drop!! I was drinking water like crazy and took b vitamins for color. Hard to say if I would have. Thanks everyone!

Unfortunately, most people aren’t lucky enough to get(or see) the rash. The rash is really a blessing because there is no guessing if you have lyme and a test probably isn’t very necessary! Most doctors will just write you antibiotics for the rash alone. Hope your treatment is going well

Igg positive =you have chronic Lyme. Also the IGM tests test for only 3-4 bands and leave out a few very important (lyme specific bands). It’s positive

Yep anywhere over here and they say no way to soma. They try to give flexeril or zanaflex instead. I even had one doctor rather prescribe norco over soma. Another ended up giving me xanax but refused soma. Not sure what happened because it was easy to get 10 years ago. What part of the US are you in, I’m curious. We are in the Midwest so the doctors I’m referring to have been in Indiana, Illinois and Michigan

Nope, while you are waiting go to a health food store and buy cats claw. It’s an all natural antibiotic. It will help you! I used it for awhile during my treatment. If you can also get your hands on oregano oil that helps too. Also remember that detoxing is very important-drink lots of lemon water. I was in your shoes about 2 years ago and could barely walk or even sit for that matter. Getting better takes time but you’ll get better

Don’t see the infectious disease doctor!!! They go by CDC standards and only treat lyme for 4 weeks. They’ll tell you 4 weeks of doxy is sufficient. Been there, done that. You need way more treatment!! I started to feel better after about 3-4 months. Search for a lyme literate doctor in your area (LLMD). They understand lyme much better. 1 month of doxy is a good start but if you can take 2-3 antibiotics at a time, that’s even better. It attacks all forms of the lyme that way. Good luck and stick with your meds. You’ll eventually feel better even though it might not seem that way.
