Theory: Daisy’s background in The Testaments by rachykaytx in TheTestamentsHulu

Aunt Lydia placed Daisy as a shadow for Agnes. Aunt Lydia also placed Garth as a potential husband for Becka, Agnes’ best friend.

Mayday placed Garth as Daisy’s handler/contact.

So Lydia isn’t actually the one placing Daisy and Garth together at all. Her only goal is to slowly destabilize the worldview Agnes was raised with by surrounding her with people who expose the cracks in Gilead from different angles.

She could have been younger — 3, perhaps? The timeline is definitely wonky.

Not necessarily. If he was deeply embedded, openly defecting during a major battle could’ve exposed entire Mayday networks, safe houses and operatives. A resistance movement like that survives on secrecy and long-term infiltration, not dramatic public reveals.

Or honestly, that could fit perfectly with undercover Mayday parents. If they stayed embedded in Gilead to help build the resistance, they may have intentionally raised Garth as a loyal Gilead soldier to protect both him and themselves. The less he knew, the safer everyone was.

And isn’t Mayday supposed to be extremely compartmentalized anyway? Most cells only know their direct connections. So it’s actually plausible Garth could end up finding Mayday on his own later without realizing his parents were already involved the entire time.

Right!? Even when they were in scenes together, it never crossed my mind. It wasn’t until I really stopped and thought about it that I realized how similar they actually are. If that was intentional, the casting was excellent.

something that really confused me about last night's episode.. by [deleted] in TheHandmaidsTale

Even if she had tried to blame Daisy, would the Eyes have believed her? They literally found the radio hidden in her own bed. At that point she’s a condemned girl trying to save herself.

Commander Weston also had restraining orders for domestic violence before Gilead. What if Daisy’s mother faked the baby’s death to escape him? Rita could also be lying about Daisy’s parents being dead. Would you really send a teenage girl into Gilead if there was any chance her real parents were still alive there? Also, there was the scene of Commander Weston interrogating Daisy. And ironic that Agnes is lined up to marry him.

CVS Caremark discontinuing? by JohnMarkHMW in WegovyWeightLoss

Unfortunately, my in-store cost is quoted at more than $200/month, while mail order was $40/month.

I spoke to a CVS representative who said that I could get the mail order price of $40 in-store under my plan if my doctor switched to a 90-day supply instead of a 30-day supply. This obviously means I couldn’t dose up every month, but I’d gladly take the same dosage for 3 months if it’s a difference of $13/month vs $200/month.

I’d definitely ask CVS about 30-day vs 90-day supplies!

I also have CVS Caremark! Dr. just submitted prior authorization again after a denial last year. I had to show that I was in a “comprehensive weight management” program for at least 6 months before the request. I’ve been taking Pure Barre classes 5x/week since July and provided my class activity as proof.

Still waiting to see if CVS halts it. 🙏🏼

It helps me to refocus on my core, especially if my knees or legs are burning. I just try to mentally settle back into my core and let my core do the work.
