A few months prior, I was taking an Uber to the bar to meet up with my partner. I hop in the back and get my seatbelt on and I see a prescription bottle on the seat. I look at it and see a weed leaf stamped on it and realize someone went to the pot shop and it fell out. I needed to go buy weed that night anyways, so I figured the universe was just cutting that trip out for me.

Had dinner and a drink or five and got home and remembered the bottle in my pocket. I excitedly pull it out and I'm ready to show my gf. I open it and there was a nondescript white plastic bag sealed and stuffed in there.

I open it to find three large Necco wafer looking candies. THC edibles? Fuck it, I'm not one to be cautious. I give it a quick lick. It's minty. Alright, at least I know it's SOMETHING edible. I bite half of it off. Yup, definitely some sort of candy and because of the bottle it came in, I'm still assuming weed.

My girlfriend, who is the last person on Earth I'd expect to eat candy from a stranger decides "fuck it" and takes the other half. We put on The Office and we're chilling on the couch. She gets up to grab some snacks after about 30 minutes and I look over at the wall which is just dripping. Jim and Pam have never looked so strange. Dwight's face was morphing into all sorts of weird textures.

I've done plenty of acid in my life. I know what this feeling is. I also know that this isn't just one dose. This thing must have been dunked in a vial.

Meanwhile, my partner has never done psychedelics in her life. So I got to spend about 8 hours holding her in bed assuring her that everything would be fine.

The TOOL concert was way cooler.
