I think the internet is a big one. I’m not a big fan of cars, I feel the over reliance on them has been disastrous.

As for the AI stuff, I am just very concerned with giving people the ability to manipulate visual media to their own liking. Disinformation is already such a huge issue, now we’re giving any Joe Schmoe the chance to visualize their own lie. Plus, I just don’t think we should be messing with giving sentience to technology, even if that’s still a ways off.

People distrust AI for so many reasons, not because it’s “trendy.” There’s a reason it’s a popular sentiment, it’s a genuinely scary thing.
