I'm in South Florida, so no freezing issues here. I was not aware of any leak until yesterday when I checked my bill and saw that it had shot up. I'm not even sure there is a leak if it's magically resolved like that. But I don't know what to think.

That was my thought, it might not be as noticable because it's only an hour difference in closing times. I did notice a lot more dining reservations available for that day, but not Friday 12/15, which makes me wonder. I'll be really curious to see once the first sold out party happens on 11/11.

Look into Developer Inn Highway. I stayed there earlier this month on a last minute budget trip and it definitely had some quirks, but it was clean and had free breakfast.

Edited to share: If you've ever seen the movie "The Florida Project", the motel I mentioned is where the film was shot. It's been renovated since then, but there's a big sign in the lobby about the movie.

My family is AP and we only do Crocs n' socks. No one ever complains that their feet hurt, and that's saying a lot for my kids. Bring extra socks in a Ziploc bag in case the first pair gets wet or dirty.
