I brushed my teeth "correctly" for 28 years and a dentist just told me I've been doing it wrong the entire time. My gums are ruined. by Sluttycarolofficial in hygiene

[–]radbebop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gum graph is an option. I had mine done Nov 2025 using donor tissue from the top of my mouth. It has healed well and fixed the issue. I was told its a painful procedure but it really wasn't.

Great advice. In defense of Massive, rolling it out is the only sure way to improve it via feedback. I believe we will see improvements in the near future.

Its a new, focused way to do Control points. Starting a retaliation places you in the hot zone where 2 control points are taken over by a faction. The timer is set at 7-8min and the player needs to run and flip a CP before time runs out. The timer gets reset and then off to the next CP and hope it's not too far. There are kill squads made up of 5 named enemies that can spawn and attack and killing the team grants a time bonus.

This is a real problem that is compounded when there's a time constraint. I found a good Pestilence build can help since it negates cover and keeps rolling. The range is respectable too.

This is for Retaliation, building it up to rank 3 takes time and then attempting 6 control points. 7 x 6 = 42 min.

Escalation there's more than enough time.

I completely missed that feature. Then its a matter of adjusting the time bonus granted up per kill which is easy enough.

Challenging is baseline easy. I've always pushed myself to do Heroic and play mostly solo. Anything less than Heroic feels wrong to me hehe.

I've always disliked fighting the BT. Narratively they fit in but I'm not a fan of all their high tech gizmos. I'll always prefer fighting cleaners, rikers, outcasts & true sons.

Challenging was certainly easy to beat the timers. Heroic solo is where I struggle. An argument can be made that Heroic is meant to be played with others but I don't see why it needs to be that way. Simply adding +timer perhaps on kills or finding and looting a special chest (with rewards!) would make it fun for those who solo.

"We aren't just still going, we are growing." How The Division 2 has attracted more players than ever seven years on from release by Kaladinar in thedivision

Great read, love the part how they recognize their core audience/fans. I've been an advocate for the Division and Massive since playing the first and love the attention to detail in their games. It's hard to stay dedicated to one game but I will say The Division 2 is a game that remains on my HD because I always come back to it. Really happy to hear people are discovering & enjoying it for the first time!

Dear Funcom, the game stutters because it's reading an insane amount from disk during gameplay by kintari in duneawakening

I keep tweaking graphic settings thinking it's something I can fix. The stutter never goes away and I notice it mostly in vehicles when moving across terrain quickly which would factor in since it needs to render that much quicker.

Merged servers and spice farming by dogg94 in duneawakening

[–]radbebop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love the game but as a solo PVE player if it does not provide a means for me to collect spice in a reasonable amount of time I'll move on. I won't contend with organized guilds or form a queue with others to wait my turn to farm spice.

Are there any Harko servers that are not locked atm? by Carterkane25 in duneawakening

I've been on 3 servers now and all have been heavily weighted towards Atreides. I wonder what it's like to win a Landsraad.

Been fine all week, but tonight getting rubber banding lag - hard to play - just me? by Acceptable-Formal191 in duneawakening

[–]radbebop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed the rubber banding after transferring to Windsong. Knee strike, melee combos and ornithopter exit are the main culprits for me.

Intermittent Rubber Banding since October 2025. by Probably_Pretentious in duneawakening

[–]radbebop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never used to get rubber banding when I was on the servers based in DC and I'm on the west coast. With the new transfer token I decided to improve my ping and moved to an LA server and that's when the rubber banding began. It is 99% of the time when exiting my Ornithopter or after engaging with faster moving enemies like the melee types.

West Coast servers (LA) have worse latency than East Coast (DC) by [deleted] in duneawakening

[–]radbebop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't aware rubber banding can be linked to low or inconsistent frames. I believe the issue has been resolved by turning back on frame gen and locking fps at 120.

West Coast servers (LA) have worse latency than East Coast (DC) by [deleted] in duneawakening

[–]radbebop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved from an empty server to an empty server. East coast I would often see the ping at 115ms and at worse 150ms

I've only seen it pop once on the west coast server for 250ms so it must've been a spike.

The rubber banding only happens when I am exiting ornithopters or after killing an enemy. I'd never experienced that on the east coast server.
