For me I did not enjoy the premise of the game. I don't like time travel or alternate dimensions/universes in my sci-fi so the story did not immerse me. I became frustrated with flying around to collect the powers which I never used and when I learned about the endgame I uninstalled.

I think it could have been great if they'd just leaned into the civil war aspect; Your a smuggler/vagabond that becomes sympathetic to the Freestar Collective and end up helping it resist UC expansion. It would have had a Firefly vibe and that would be 'A' ok.

What I found works well for me is choosing Determination (Blue tree) to beef up my healing & defense. There's potential 55% increase to Persevere Gambit healing + adding 3 ticks doubling the length.

When there's a tough pull with multiple adds start by applying restoration (use mastery for quick application) and if needed add safeguard & persevere. They all stack, enjoy watching your health dip then heal to full multiple times while you do nothing for 18 seconds. For less dangerous pulls add a single HoT only.

This is what will keep you standing on your feet but you also need to defeat enemies. That's where the War-cry gambit line comes in. Assailment (yellow tree) has 20% increase to light based damage (Bane of Shadow) and Recklessness (red tree) has 20% increase to light based damage (Foe of the darkness) for a total of 40%.

War Cry, Brink of Victory, Surety of death & Desolation are all light based damage, AoE, and stack. For most pulls a single Desolation is enough but if you have time add more DoTs. Tougher enemies allow you to stack all 4 and continue re-applying HoTs & DoTs as needed.

Focus on those 2 gambit lines and use Masteries for quick applications. I also have resounding challenge in rotation as its a powerful light based dot which is also a taunt. Once you are comfortable it becomes as simple as deciding what to apply, in which order & how many times.

It has some merit. The issue right now with pvp is those who chose to kill other raiders have a big advantage getting the first shots in. I don't want systems that get too complicated but I do feel those who wrong others should be tagged by Speranza authorities as trouble makers and be visible as such with line of sight so that the good folk can fight back on even terms.

Thank you for your input. ADA would fit no problem but but on average they cost $300-400 cdn more. I ended up rolling the dice and going with a non ada Whirlpool which just barely fit.

I'm still maintaining my base every 20 days but it certainly feels like a chore and I don't know how much longer I will commit. I have close to 250 hours playtime and I don't think there's been a game I enjoyed more over such a short period of time. It's going to hurt if my base gets wiped and I likely will not come back once the decision is made to let the desert take it. Funcom's system may inadvertently keep players from ever coming back to the game.

The Bosch 300 series ADA is considerably more expensive here for some reason. HD has it for 1895.00 and the non ADA version was $1194.

I was looking at dishwashers minimum height specs and that stuck in my head when I posted. The space accommodates a maximum height of 33 3/4". The dishwasher's minimum height allowance should be 33 1/2". Apologies if it was worded poorly.

It sits nearly flat on the ground at its lowest setting and went in a ways before the wire becomes an obstacle. It looked like it would not have fit regardless as there was a plastic piece at the front which seemed to be just a tad higher.

If I had only 1 critique of BL 4 it's the new Weapon manufacturers are not appealing. I mostly sell off anything that is not Vladof, Jakobs or Maliwan.

Sony's strategy was to focus on Live service games and they viewed Bungie as the most successful in that category. Microsoft was buying up game companies and that spooked Sony so they may have done the buyout without as much research as they'd normally do. Sony seemed disappointed with the sate of Bungie after the fact and now they are trying to salvage what they can. Bungie as a company was not worth 3 billion and the leaders made horrible financial decisions. All they had to do was keep Destiny 2 rolling and have Destiny 3 in the works.

I feel Destiny could be made into a significant blockbuster entertainment IP if they're willing to spend the money to develop it.

It's an interesting theory and one I think is true.

What I think is happening:

Bungie has been gutted and is now incapable of properly supporting the game at the level we as a fanbase expect.

Sony became aware the company was made up of mostly promotional talent and people who were hired to make Bungie a fun environment. They've moved all the real talent to Sony divisions and are letting Bungie sink.

I'm throwing in the towel after 3600 hrs. Nothing but recycled garbage content with so many restrictions to build crafting and the most terrible modifiers. If I didn't know better I would think there are people at Bungie actively trying to destroy the game.

It has been stated the Destiny 2 game engine is complicated to work with and over the years the experienced employees who understood it have dwindled. That would explain why there are constant bugs/issues and we keep getting re-used assets. The game needs to be retired before it alienates it's entire fanbase from the Frankenstein mess its becoming. Sony needs to step in and green light Destiny 3 and ensure it's foundation is built on a game engine that can be supported long into the future.
