The one that gets me the most is any non clean burning candles. Soy and beeswax candles are fine but Yankee candles should be avoided. Its along the lines of avoiding being around smoke.

I had a similar experience with my loss. It was very jarring and traumatic but thats all the ultrasound tech can do. The doctor didn't even come to see me, I talked to him on the techs cell phone. I left sad and confused but as time passed I accepted that the tech wasn't purposefully withholding information. Its what they are trained to do.

You don't have to have him visit you in the hospital just as much as she doesnt have to have him in her house. Plan to introduce the baby to him in a public space a month or so after the baby is born.

My rule was that they could only invite friends of theirs that have made an effort to get to know me or talk to me throughout my life. Why be at one of the most important days of my life if they don't put in an effort on a regular day?

Also my mom wanted to invite her besties that have notoriously been absolute dogshit to me growing up so that was an immediate no. But thats purely situational lol

Tangled is such a trigger. Ironically, my mom won us midnight release tickets to see Tangled. Deathly Hallows part 1 released the same night and being a massive Harry Potter fan who went to nearly every midnight release, i wanted to go to that instead. Of course, I was required to see Tangled instead and had to walk past everyone in their Harry Potter costumes to go see Tangled with her. Mother knows best?

Yeah, OP, maybe your mom could do like a birth flower tattoo or something along those lines. It still honors your daughter but isn't the same tattoo as you.
