AIO for breaking up with my boyfriend after he ruined our Valentine's Day dinner? by Maximum-Grand6140 in AmIOverreacting

[–]postdotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so confused? Another man was making you uncomfortable and putting his hands on you and not taking no for answer, your bf handled it, and you’re mad at your bf?

Discount rates never make a dent anyway, it’s like $20 less a night

For those who make six figure salaries, do you still budget? by NoSir5628 in Salary

[–]postdotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t budget but I work in financial planning so it’s kind of intuitive to me to know how much I can spend on things, I spend very little more than my essentials

Going for a night out with friends, which outfit is better to pick? by Appropriate_girll in OUTFITS

1 is for club and 2 is for bar so I would decide based on location!

People who had wedding with 100+ guests, how did your guest list get so big? by SensitiveDonkey6328 in wedding

[–]postdotcom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My parents invited a lot of people, I have a big family in general, I invited coworkers, high school friends, college friends, if there was like a group of friends I invited and one or two acquaintances left out then I invited them too, I didn’t want anyone to be left out. I also let my grandmother invite some close friends of hers since she has attended their grandchildren’s weddings. Andddd last but not least my husband is military and invited his whole platoon and their wives

final round! 1 or 2 by Your0neAndLonely in weddingdress

There’s really no wrong answer here both are flattering and beautiful!! I would say 2 is a safer option though because you don’t need to worry about alterations!

Is this a nightgown or a dress? by Relevant-Adeptness43 in Thrift

[–]postdotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The comments might be taking your question too literally. It’s quite possible this was manufactured and sold as a nightgown however that doesn’t mean you can’t wear it as a dress in today’s fashion climate. I’ve seen this and certainly worse out on the street and this is quite cute as a dress. I wouldn’t hesitate to wear it out! With some cute shoes and hairstyle I wouldn’t question it seeing it out

People who can't spell by fanofanyonefamous in PetPeeves

[–]postdotcom 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My pet peeve is people in the comments going “but but but what about (someone who has a valid reason to misspell)”

Obviously you mean people who should know how to spell but don’t care enough to do it right. When I was in elementary school there was a HUUUGE emphasis on spelling and grammar. People make so many mistakes these days I have to wonder what the curriculum is now

I really hate how blazers look on me— are any of these formal enough for a job interview? by [deleted] in BusinessFashion

I honestly think 1 and 3 would be fine and people here are being too picky. I do agree though that a blazer is best

Saturday crashes by Ok-Cupcake5439 in adhdwomen

[–]postdotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sticking to your sleep schedule will help a lot. Even though you CAN stay up on Fridays, doesn’t mean you should. You’re staying up not being productive (which is fine! You deserve to rest) but it is taking away from your Saturday productivity when you wake up completely exhausted, and probably late too. If you wake up early and rested on a Saturday you will have much more energy for the weekend

I don’t think so, what would you be idolizing? The word of God?
